Boyfriend will possibly kill me if he finds out I spent so much on a Salted Caramel Soufflé ($24) this was risen well, good tangy apple sorbet but was too eggy and waaaay too sweet (like eating a sweet, egg dish)

Was overwhelmed by the combination of ingredients in The Signature (RM26.80) shimeji mushrooms, spinach, smoked chicken, sausage slices, tomatoes and an onsen egg?!?!?! Mixing the egg into the well spiced pasta cooked in shoyu soup base, gave my tastebud one of the most satisfying feeling ever. Simplicity at it's best 10/10 👍🏻

Reely fintastic Scallops Skewer (RM6) grilled tasty scallops, topped w garlic mayo and spoonful of popping good ebi roes. Everything from this place is tasty (and affordable) af, defo gonna miss this one!

This was highly recommended by a friend when I said I was going to boCHINche for dinner, and I wasn't disappointed! Cracking into the caramelised sugar top, the dulce de leche custard base Creme Brûlée ($17) melts in your mouth leaving a creamy, sweet finish. Banana split flavoured ice cream was a bonus tho could do without. Calories don't count for dessert.

Lovely ambience, al fresco, private dining experience (albeit the mozzies that sucked me dry) loved the tender, flavourful Iberico Jowl ($20) glazed w stout, crunchy kimchi apple bits and scallions 👍🏻 good food but really small portion!

Back again to try the avocado soft serve w mochi base ($14) looooove the subtle avocado flavour in the creamy soft serve and the warm, sweet, chewy mochi bun. Not the most balanced combo but defo good for your soul! (Or tummy)

Still haven't gotten over the tasty, creamy Crab Bee Hoon Soup ($60+) slurping up the thick bee hoon with bits of crab roe in the delicate, sweet crabby soup. Other dishes (the filo pastry prawn was lit) were really good too, but this has gotta be the mvp for that night. Extremely proud of this sg tzi char 👍🏻

Tad disappointed w dinner; stracci with prawns and scallops in saffron sauce ($24) failed to deliver: overcooked pasta, watered down sauce and distinct taste of frozen seafood. Even w its affordable prices, mediocre food w overrated hype gets old real quick.

Sambucus Toxin ($25) was a refreshing, light and slightly tard gin based cocktail w fresh lime juice + lychee purée + elderflower + mint leaves. Great drink before dinner!

Always down for a good juicy burger and double truffle shrooms ($20) did not disappoint! Patty was packed loosely for max flavors and texture. Well seasoned, blue cheese a plus point!

Extremely tender and juicy grilled ribeye tasted so good it could do without the vigneron butter. The fat cap was the best part; charred, beefy, melt in mouth goodness. Affordably priced ($39.80) tho free-flow fries didn't add much appeal. Still, 10/10 would be back for the steak!

Greeted by a friendly cashier, YO felt like a mini, homely fast food that serves great dons and Japanese fusion dishes. The Yakiniku Beef Bowl ($15.90) came w perfectly done beef that's evenly pink on the inside (I suspect sous vide) rested on a bed of pearl rice sprinkled w tasty furikake. Stirring the runny onsen yolk into the rice was both pleasing to eyes and tastebuds. YO 1, tanuki raw 0 🐮
