Super packed on weekends. Coin prata is crispy and a bit sweet on the inside. Kosong one is crispy also but a bit thick and not fluffy enough. Maybe due to rushing to clear the crowd. Curry not as nice as RK house near Chomp Chomp.
Just a few steps away is Dunman food centre where u can try yummy wanton noodle, pls ask for their pork lard.

Opening hours: 0900hrs to 1930hrs, closed on Thursdays. That said, as I talked to the nice lady, do arrive before 6:30pm to prevent your disappointment.
The boss will make your noodle while the wife takes orders. His mom will be in charge of homemaking their wanton. I saw auntie wash their own plates quite hygienically.
Taste wise, it's up to my liking along with the just nice springiness of the egg noodles, juicy wanton, sweet charsiew. Simple but satisfying by sesame oil and soysauce based dressing. The wanton is filled with pork, guess there's no flour in it. Nothing to shout out to the charsiew tho. Generous portion of veggies btw. Please request pork lard.
What makes this really stand out is the spicy chili and prices that they offer (small/big $3/$3.5 respectively).

I'd say this is really a good place for your Teochew porridge craving. Apart from its cheap price, it doesnt compromise on the taste.
Minced meat is cooked just nice, not too dry and savoury. Also should order their fish cake which I guess is homemade.
Veggie:$1, Meat: $2
Total damage: $12.7

It's hidden in a corner yet packed with many customers on a hot and humid night. The sesame chicken was so well balanced with fresh and dried chili, spring onion, not so salty nor sweet. I was kinda slurping its gravy as it was so tasty. Only chicken thigh was used for this, which is 1 plus point. Suitable for 3 ppl rather than 2 if u wanna try more dishes from them.
Nearby there's a stall in the morning selling veggies with very cheap prices as well.

They call it Gangsterice. A combination of snow ice, condensed milk, mango and real durian makes your $3 so worth it.

Fresh and big cube of salmon, huge serving. Definitely worth your $13 nett price. 1 bonus is the aunties here very friendly and civilised. Having this bowl of Chirashi Don reminds me of Sushiro when they first opened, the portion and size of sashimi used to be this size but it's getting smaller and smaller. Will come back here again when my craving for sashimi back coz no need to queue.

It's located next to the famous Fish and Chicks in the amk neighbourhood area. Noodle comes with grilled pork cutlet, pork ball and spring roll, well complemented with spring onion, peanut and fish sauce. The spring roll is savoury and crispy with a good amount of minced pork and shredded taro I guess. The lady will put lots of cucumber, lettuce, carrots, mint leaves, so remind her not to put so much if u cannot take too much green. Mix them up before eating.
Damage: only $5 which is an absolute steal as compared to that at Mrs Pho and Long Phung

Having read so many good reviews so finally tried this out.
Good points: soup got taste, crispy pork lard, fish maw (my favourite)
Down side: pig stomach got smell, veggies not washed, got sand
Dun understand why so popular with long queue
Damage: $16 for 2 ppl

Just $6 for a large cup of coconut shake with its creamy ice cream. Another alternative for coconut lover. Go for 25% sugar
