The angus beef patty with tomato onion jam and Nicasio cheese between spicy paprika buns is pretty fine, but what really captured my heart was the vegetarian slider, which featured an unexpectedly tasty quinoa and lentils patty. Trust @manhattan_sg to be the first establishment to make me vote veggies over meat.

Was tempted to try the surimi crab sandwich but was apprehensive when I learnt that there is mayo(I don't like the taste). They actually let me test the crab filling! So in the end I chose this bacon mushroom sandwich instead. Love the fluffy soft bread with slightly crunchy exterior. The mushroom was juicy and the bacon wasn't fatty and salty! It was nice! You don't feel greasy and sinful after eating it! Love it! And I must love the great service too :) such a way to end the work week!

Housed in the iconic Tong Ah building, this new kid on the Keong Saik block has been the talk of the town in recent months. The burgers come in beef, chicken, lamb, and vegetarian options, which makes it easy for eating in a group. The Baby Huey is a crowd-pleaser - a 150g beef patty slathered in their 'TOM' sauce and miso mayo. Also good is the Rambo; the lamb is cooked to tender perfection, paired with eggplant pickle & cucumber aioli. Please get a side of the Naughty Fries, hand-cut chips nestled beneath a spicy bearnaise sauce, beef chilli and parmesan. Crazy good!

Be the first to try the only collagen hotpot buffet with over 100 items. So new that there isn't a geotag yet. Itadakimasu!

Full flavoured with a natural beefy taste, this is my new no. 1 choice for Vietnamese beef pho in Singapore. It doesn't have the sugary sweetness that marks Long Phung's version but neither is it mild and boring.
At $7 per bowl, I feel they are quite generous with the sliced cooked beef, beef brisket and beef balls as well.

The rice paper skin of their spring rolls is the thinnest I've ever seen. Highly translucent, it's also stretchier which makes it slightly chewy. The refreshing filling consists of slices of pork and prawn, rice stick noodles, raw beansprouts, mint leaves and basil. Personally, I'd order this anytime over fried spring rolls. So much healthier!

For someone who doesn't cook, the recipe for this didn't seem too daunting when I read it online. True enough, I managed to create this without any mishaps :) After stirring rolled oats and chia seeds into Yoplait's vanilla yogurt with a dash of milk, I scooped half of the mixture into the jar ($2 from Daiso), then added strawberries that I had cut into small pieces. Poured out the remainder of the mixture for the next layer before topping off with blueberries. Screwed on the lid before refrigerating the jar overnight. Come morning, it was ready to be eaten. Easy-peasy.
