This quesadilla has Mexican mushrooms boasting an almost truffle like flavour. Their signature dish featuring a 10” wheat tortilla with cheese, corn truffle, oyster mushrooms, sweet corn, cotija & chinichurri sauce. Vegetarian approved!

Finally! Singapore’s first savoury pie. Been having their savoury pies from McDonald’s Bangkok & it was always so satisfying but can’t say the same for our version. The crust was too thick & wasn’t flakey. It would have been delicious if they remained to their original Apple pie crust!

If you like your Hokkien noodles wet then you will love this! Love that this came with clams unlike any other Hokkien mee. Clams made the broth a lot sweeter & tastier. The second last time I had this, I was disappointed & could taste a difference. I gave them my feedback & found out their chefs has changed so I stopped going for a while. Returned again recently with my Indonesian friends that were visiting & standard has picked up once again. My Indonesian Friend thought it was the best Hokkien mee he had as he was a fan of wet styled. How about you? Do you rather dry or wet Hokkien mee?

First in Singapore with the interior of the cup coated with brown sugar glaze together with chewy pearls that were slow cooked to perfection in brown sugar. Chilled fresh milk is then poured into the cup & a layer of velvety & savoury cheese cream is added on top. That’s not all! Brown sugar bits are sprinkled and torched into a crisp, caramelised crust, adding another dimension of flavor & texture in this sweet treat! Does this sound delicious to you?

Comfort food for brunch! Grated parmesan, emmentaler & soft Brie. Served with bacon tomato soup for dipping. 🥓🍅How can something so simple be this satisfying? Cheese toast was soft & chewy & went along very well with a comforting bacon tomato soup. Will you pay for cheese toast like this at a cafe?

The best crab cake I ever had in Singapore and probably my life. I’m not a huge crab cake person cause it’s usually just fried batter but this was a whole chunk of crab meat with sweet potato & black pepper aioli sauce. You can taste the black pepper with every bite & it reminded me of a peeled black pepper crab. So shiok when you don’t have to peel it & every mouthful is a huge chunk right?

Would love to start my mornings with their signature teas. They are very well known & well loved for their lychee teas that all my friends chose but I had their refreshing mint lemongrass. Lychee tea was more to the sweet side while mint lemongrass was abit sour as they squeezed a lime in that cup. I couldn’t decide between their ginger ginseng tea or ginger spiced tea & there’s a lot more range in their menu!

Their own take of “green hummus” I loved the sweet & savoury taste to this dish & felt it was rather unique! Grilled lamb sausage was savoury while the mint & pistachios gave it a sweet twist. I had to double check the menu to find out what was the ingredient used that made me like this dish so much & it turned out to be pistachios! Best part? 100% Gluten-free!

Tender & juicy medium rare steak grilled to perfection for lunch. Crust was slightly charred & Smokey. 300g for us to share & it came with the most amazing chips. I had to ask why were the chips so different from the usual & found out they were tripled cooked?! These chips were steamed, confit and then fried before serving. 🍟 Bearnaise sauce was served by the side.

Spaghetti with crispy pork cheek, black pepper, parmesan, black truffle & egg yolk sauce. The best carbonara I ever had!!!!!!!!! Enough said.

Flaky croissant with generous chilli crab filling found at #carouselland bazaar. It was more to the sweet side, wasn’t spicy & had the taste of egg mayo. I think they mixed the chili crab fillings together with the classic egg mayo & served with some chips. It was not bad just that it tasted more like sweet tomato sauce rather than Chili. Do you prefer it to be sweet or spicy? 😅 Had an additional order of truffle chips by the side which had NO taste of any truffle. Been trying to find the booth name for this all over the internet yet it was impossible. Seems like nobody tag any food pics from @carousell.sg’s biggest indoor bazaar. Probably everyone just focusing on shopping! Will you stick to the classic egg mayo 🥐 or will you try something like this?
