After searching for so many years, this is the third place that serve Penang prawn mee that I happened to find! Aromatic flavourful soup with a hint of sweetness & a little spiciness! I wanted more Chili but they didn’t have and said it’s already mixed in the soup. Wasn’t spicy to me and this bowl was just missing veggies.

📍 : The Centrepoint malaysian foodcourt at the basement. They sold other malaysian food too and everyone was eating claypot rice. My bowl cost $5!

This famous peanut & black sesame muah chee always has a line cause the Uncle makes each portion on the spot.
No video photography was allowed tho. This was medium $3.50 and they weren’t very sweet. Some places are sweeter as they add more sugar. The secret to the greatness of muah chee lies in the yummy shallot oil they dipped it in. Have you tried this?

The real deal of mac & cheese with 3 different types of cheese in one dish. Mozzarella, black pepper cheddar & blue cheese with white truffle oil. Definitely for cheese lovers!

Le Shrimp Ramen 🦐🍜 #carbiedaphiesg #carbiedaphie

Think of it like an atas prawn mee with 2 big prawns, prawn dumplings, handmade ebiko prawn paste & cabbage in a prawn broth. Probably the most talked about la mian in Singapore. Been seeing these posts around probably cause it’s the first ever chinese & Japanese ramen dish that offers shrimp broth. Soup was addictive but wished there’s a less noodles options. Good move on the spring onion in that spoon tho. So no one will ever complain about them in their soup if they don’t like the taste of it. Have you tried this yet?

Iberico chorizo, onion jam & runny quail’s egg on toast from @tapasclubsg’s new menu. This was so good that I popped 2-3 pieces into my mouth immediately. Craving for this right now!! #carbiedaphiesg #carbiedaphie 📍: @tapasclubsg, Vivo City.

Salmon on seaweed tacos with avocado, tomato salsa, wasabi mayo & ikura. My second time visiting this beautiful cafe & this was my favourite dish here. Rest of the menu were disappointing tho. Do you agree? I know some do!

Choose between beef, salmon belly, chicken or pork! This was the sliced beef & it came with vegetables & a bowl of onsen egg by the side. Sukiyaki has always been on the sweeter side but it was tasty & satisfying. Perfect for a rainy day like today! I wanna try their spicy kimchi sukiyaki next. Do you like sukiyaki?

🌟 tips - pour the onsen egg in the sukiyaki broth to enjoy! Pricing was very affordable for this portion. Chicken or pork sukiyaki were even cheaper!
