Had this at a small Coffeeshop in Holland Drive. What I liked about this was that the broth not flavoured from MSG but from the natural sweetness of the seafood. Texture was great, as the plumpness of the rice grains were still retained, and this added a bite to the watery concoction. The claypot also ensured that the porridge was bubbling hot throughout your meal!
Price is a bit steep for lunch imo, as Holland drive market also offers porridge at cheaper prices. But a good lunch treat!
Paid $5 to try all these food made with Impossible meat! I really like the spring roll and the crispy pancake because the flavours of the āmeatā blended really well in the dish. The burger patty really looked like it was made out of meat but there was a soy aftertaste. Impressive nonetheless! Wouldnāt mind eating this as an alternative to meat and Iām looking forward to try more of such dishes!
P.S The atmosphere was really great and hyped up so although we needed to queue for ~1h I didnāt feel weary or tired. Kudos to the Impossible Team!
Nothing to shout about imo. Salmon was fresh but the fish skin filling was soggy. I think if it was crispy it would be so much better.
Smoky unagi brushed with sweet sauce paired well with the creamy mayo and the cod roe. A must order imo!
Fresh, generous with great variety of fish. Rice was well-seasoned with a tinge of sweetness which complimented the natural saltiness of the fish. Came here using eatigo (40%!) on a weekend afternoon and this made our meal REALLY WORTH IT!
Service was great and ambience is perfect for a quiet afternoon.
This ytf doesnāt make you feel like youāre having ādiet foodā. Extremely well-crafted ingredients and substantial amounts of meat. Delicious.
Interesting combination! The flavours came together really well. The flavourful bbq chicken was smoky and had a slight tinge of sourness, which paired really well with the sweet cranberry sauce. The Brie was a good choice as the cheese flavour was mild and did not overpower the other toppings.
Base was absolutely what I was looking for in a pizza. Crispy and light! š Tom yum flavours were there but slightly a bit too spicy. The garlic pieces on top provided a nice crunch and had a slightly bitter and pungent taste (very well fried imo) They also have raw garlic pieces hidden in the pizza which elevated the garlic flavour of the dish. Itās great that they are āmad for garlicā! Definitely warrants a second visit!
Asked them to aburi my sashimi haha. Portion size was good, fish slices were quite thick and the rice was nicely flavoured with Japanese seasoning. The price point was a bit high imo. But now with Burpple Beyond it warrants another visit!
This place suffered a price hike recently so I havenāt been going back that often. But I really like the curry sauce bc itās more watery and not as strong-tasting as compared to their counterparts! This plate just screams comfort and messy food. Worth a try!
One of the best out there imo! Chewy noodles which goes really well with the creamy egg yolk. The meat was too greasy and slightly too salty for me so itās not something I will crave for often. But itās a good place to get your fix of dry pan mee!
Personally I donāt like hollandaise so I opted it out. Quite pricey imo but thatās cafe food right haha. The eggs were well cooked and the salmon was great. Bread was spongey and buttery as well. Nothing to fault about this dish.
