This place is super popular but I find the waffles very mediocre, not sure what the hype is about. It has 1–1 Burpple deal which makes it really cheap but I would not queue for the waffle here.

The ice cream is also so-so. So really not sure why crowds flock here.

Verdict: 2.75/5

Went to this place cos of foodk**g videos. But honestly this dish is very mediocre. It’s expensive 20$ for a plate of fried noodles but it’s really not worth the hype. I was really excited but it was quite disappointing.

Noodles are overly soggy and chilli also just okok. The prawns were fresh but the flavour is quite dense and lacking wokhey.

May return to try the soup version but will not try this dry one again.

Verdict: 2.5/5

This is so worth the hype. Brioche bun is soft and buttery and has slight crisp on the outside. Lobster filling is well seasoned and has lemoney taste. Sauce goes perfect with this.

Would return for this brioche. Friend said the other outlet at jewel is really disappointing so better visit this one.

I’ve tried places with better lobster and more fresh ones. This lobster dish is sub par and the lobster roll is definitely way better than this. Grilled and steam both in this dish but it’s really just so-so. Butter sauce helps to alleviate the taste but the lobster lacks the natural sweetness.

Verdict:3/5

Tried the tasting menu and was about 60$ pp excluding drinks. Gotta say it’s pretty worthy cos the dishes were all premium! this ribeye was charred on the outside and well seasoned inside.

Overall would return here for the food and the view!

Verdict: 4.25/5

Seriously does not taste like how it looks. I won’t return here for the hokkien mee again, eventho the seafood was decent and quite fresh.

Did not taste like kl hokkien mee and lack the wokhey. The lard was generous though.

Verdict: 2.75/5

not exaggerating. This place is constantly full and I understand why because it’s soooo worth the hype! You MUST order this crispy pork if you’re there. Need to wait but worth the wait.

Other dishes worth mentioning are the prawns tomyum soup and tomyum noodles.

I love love love this place and is surely one of my fav Thai places in SG.

Verdict: 4.5/5

If you like fruit and sponge cakes, this place is for you!! Very brightly lit place with decent amount of seats. Fruit cakes are Japanese style and actually really light and yummy.

I love this type of cakes so it’s always good to find a place like that. Will definitely return to try other flavours like the Mille crepe. Cakes go really well with tea!

Verdict: 4/5

1-1 Burpple place for pasta and brunch. We both got the pasta cos it looks too good. Vongole > pesto for sure since the pesto can be pretty heavy after a few bites. It’s yummy tho don’t get me wrong. Can skip the truffle fries, it’s not that great.

Very generous with the toppings and ingredients and has a comfy ambiance. Perfect for dates or catch-ups.

Verdict: 3.75/5

This is one of the places that I would go for dimsum to satisfy my craving. Having moved here from HK, my standards are pretty high - most dim sums are factory made and I can taste that from the first bite.

THW and this are the better options in SG. The queue is usually long on weekends and the ambiance is quite old school which makes it vibey.

Overall, would come back to satisfy my dimsum cravings.

Verdict: 4/5

The drinks were amazing! Hojicha latte was better than the matcha latte and will return just for the hojicha.

Cake was too dense and heavy, feels jelak after a few bites. Do not recommend if you have had a heavy meal before desserts.

Latte verdict: 4.25/5

This place is unique because it serves fusion of western and local food. The 1-1 Burpple deal is really worthy cos the ambiance and food is decent. It’s worth trying but I’m not sure if I would return again unless I’m at jewel changi area.
