Came during the opening promo where 1 dines free for every 4 pax. Ordered their collagen (really good) and tomato base (really sweet). We noticed that you could order wagyu trays ala carte, so my family decided to choose their basic standard package instead.

The meat choices were alright; the food portions were inconsistent. When I ordered one serving of food, only 1 pc came. The next time time when I ordered one serving again, they served many pieces.

Food quality was subpar. Service was excellent though.

Ordered this in light broth and I didn’t regret! The seafood kick was strong. Pork belly was soft and tender whereas the char siu was normal. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Would recommend choosing light for flavor as the soup base is a tad salty!

Possibly one of the cheapest hotpot out there. Ordered off their set menu — pork belly set and beef set (both from different laminated menus) and chose the pork bone broth. Sooo good! I remembered ordering their tomato and mala but I was not a fan, so I was happy to find a base that accommodated to my taste. Each set came with one plate of meat, choice of carb (egg noodles pictured) and a vegetable basket. Total was approx $30 for 2.

Came by without reservations on a Tuesday night and managed to get a table, but rsvp recommended as the place was pretty packed! Ambience was cosy and I love that they served orange-infused water. Staff were busy but attentive — they kept topping off our glasses.

We ordered off the ala carte dinner menu:
1) Seafood risotto
Served with mussels, prawn and chorizo, garnished with dollops of mayo and bonito flakes.

2) Kurobuta pork collar
Fatty cut with fresh tomatoes on the side and crispy pork cracker.

3) Iberico pork tomahawk
Comes with rum infused pineapples and salty biscuits (turns out its pistachio crust)

4) Rib eye
Medium-rare doneness with fresh tomatoes, garnished with fried shallots

Each individual grain stood out in the risotto, which goes great with their seafood. The rice absorbed the stock well and the prawns were nicely charred. The mussels were not great (sandy), but a pretty nice dish.

The pork collar dish was really soft and fatty, almost like jelly. Succulent meat. Not bad. The cracker was a nice accompaniment as well.

In contrast to their pork collar, the iberico pork tomahawk was largely lean meat. It also came with odd pairings, rum pineapple and pistachio crust, that worked well together. I enjoyed the salty biscuit with the tomahawk!

Rib eye was cooked to preferred doneness, no complains for this dish.

Overall the food was great and I had a lovely experience. We definitely chose too much protein, and I’d love to try their pasta dishes here next time!

Used Burpple Beyond for the above and spent about $33 each for a group of three :) the staff also proactively asked if we were using any app which I appreciate!

Succulent, fresh mackerel fish! Delightfully charred skin and tender flesh. Must try.

This has been on my wishlist FOREVER. Pardon the bad shot - I was ready to monch down on this sandwich!

Can’t remember the names, but my partner got the Japanese beef bagel while I had the brunch bagel with hashbrown. The fillings were generous for both.

For the Japanese beef bagel - I enjoyed how the subtle ginger notes cut through the oil, but didn’t appreciate how stringy the beef were. The whole sandwich was also dripping in oil; we chose the cheese bagel (most bagel choices were OOS) which probably piled on greasiness.

(One of) The Brunch bagel - Ingredients individually were wonderfully cooked - the scrambled eggs were fluffy, the bacon was crisp and the hashbrown was perfectly fried. But overtime I needed loads of fluids to wash everything down. It became a chore to eat cause it was dry.

I wish I enjoyed it more than I did, but it didn’t live up to my expectations.

Nothing memorable, could barely remember where I ate this at. They have a choice of 3 soup based and I opted for the spicy one. Ramen was really nicely coated with sesame oil tho!

Place was nice and cosy, great for catch up.

Buttered brioche buns, crunchy and tender chicken thigh fillet and crisp brined pickles, accompanied by spicy cajun sauce. I could see why it received so much attention in the States. It’s a simple, wonderfully executed burger.

I loveeeeee the wedges — please give it a try! It is quite pricey if I recall but they came freshly fried with a side of wasabi and mentaiko sauce.

The neapolitan pasta’s egg was a tad overfried for my preference, and I had a feeling my pasta was sitting around before it was served — the cream dollop had melted and formed a creamy puddle at the base of the pasta. Pasta was a tad overcooked too. The meat sauce was delightful though, and the sausages had a crunch and was so addictive.

Attentive, friendly staff. Amazing and cosy ambience. I really like this place!
