Gave our palette a treat this afternoon. The verdict: a happy customer! :) Good food, good ambience.
Clockwise: Goo Cuon Tom(Fresh summer roll with prawns), Banh Knot (Mini pancakes), and of course, Pho No (Vietnamese Beef Noodles).
Especially liked the Banh Knot - something new to us given that we've never tried this dish in other Vietnamese restaurants previously; little chunks of minced pork and green beans, fried together with the pan cake batter - to be eaten with fresh lettuce and mint leaves, not forgetting its dipping sauce to go with - a sweet sour sauce mix of garlic and carrots.
Best of all? Very reasonable price! Happy pallets and happy pocket!
P/s: can't find the location from the geolocation...so, as the picture tells, its VN Banh Mi Cafe (Puchong Jaya) - they've moved from Bandar Puteri to puchong Jaya now.

Came across a newly opened Vietnamese restaurant in Bandar Puteri Puchong one day - and in short, we'll be back for more!
Welcomed by the friendly and humble owner of this restaurant, we decided to try something a little different. Rather than going for beef noodles (pho), we decided on chicken instead. Not knowing what to expect, our taste buds were in for a delightful surprise! Its broth was flavorful and the white radish add extra oomph. Generous amounts of chicken meat, mint leaves, basil and silky rice noodles tantalizes your taste buds, definitely leaving us wanting more. RM7 for the precious bowl of noodles.
Next, we also tried the famous Vietnamese rolls. We were pleasantly surprised with its portion. Some say the mint leaves were over generous for these pretty rolls, but I for one am a fan of herbs, so no problemo even with lotsa mint! :) love the dipping sauce to go with these rolls. It comes with peanuts for an extra crunch and texture. RM6 only, can your believe it?!
Very decent portion and price, I would say the only area for improvement is, well..the language barrier. Having only to be able to converse is very very basic English, it can potentially be a set back for the owner to recommended more delicious items in the menu. But that's fine, the politeness and humble ways of the owner and staff here says it all, and that extra TLC that goes in each dish certainly goes a long way :)

Expect a tsunami in your mouth, in a good way that is! Try Tsunami Seafood, a newly opened kopitiam by day, and stirs up tsunamis by night.
ALL seafood dishes at RM15, and u have a generous portion of vegetables.
We tried the Palace Sauce squid (RM15 of course) and belacan kangkung (RM8). That's a fair portion. Lightly seasoned, it doesn't leave u thirsty after the meal.
In total, we paid RM28 for the 2 dishes inclusive of drinks and rice. Pretty decent! What a nice way to welcome a Tsunami!

Want to flex your appetite creatively and have some gastronomic fun? Why not create your own pizza instead? Come to 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, and you get to create your own pizza - that's right, all you have to do is customize your pizza toppings. Select your favourite cheese topping, meat, vegetables and of course, your favourite sauce to go with.
What we had (l-r) was the satay sauce grilled chicken pizza topped with mozzarella and rocket leaves, and another was the 1000 degrees house sauce with anchovies (ikan bills) pizza topped with pineapple and mozzarella cheddar mix.
Think the combos sound weird? It was surprisingly quite good much to our delight!
This is a fairly new place (located just next to IOI Mall), hence its service crew seem to be learning along the way. But no worries, a little patience goes a long way as you lunch on your creative mix :)
Only feedback is that they should have thin crust too. Would be so much better with thin crust.
Nonetheless, the best part of all, the 10" customised pizza is on offer from now till 31 October 2016 - order a 10" customised pizza and get the second one at 50% off! (Normal price is RM19.90)
What are you waiting for??

Sea Park had come to OUG! A fairly new little shop lot in OUG, this shop is the 'HQ' of Kedai Kopi Khong which we know serves lip smacking local desserts (red bean soup, bubur cha cha, etc)
Now, what is also famous here is their MUST-TRY tomato egg noodle. Using mee-suah, it absorbs all that goodness of the tomato broth. Served with slices of omelette and minced pork which adds natural sweetness to the broth, the blend of tomato gives a refreshing sweet-sour taste! Just RM6.90 for a generous portion :)
Ohhhh, plus, don't forget to try their Siam Laksa too! Its very very veryx100 authentic and the broth definitely packs a punch! Sadly no picture of the Siam Laksa at the mo, but will certainly be raving about it next - with its picture of course! ;)

Generous serving of, well, macaroni and of course seafood, we thoroughly enjoyed this dish. What we especially liked about this dish is that the cheese and cream isn't too heavy, hence keeping that bloated feeling at bay. And the seafood, yummm, satisfies us seafood lovers :)
At RM35, this dish is ecommended to be shared if you are small eater.

One look and you can recognize this instantly. That's right - its the famous 8 flavours Xiao Long Bao (XLB).
This comes as no surprises as to why its so famous. It's 8 flavours; original, ginseng, foie gras, truffle, cheese, crab roe, garlic and szechuan; with sweet savoury soup wrapped up nicely within each XLB is simply delicious. Well, I for one can't describe this enough. The dish speaks for itself!
Just Be careful not to waste any drop of soup as your savour each XLB. And...warning.. the szechuan XLB packs a punch! :)

Famous for ramen with chashu (char siew), I finally got to satisfy my craving for a bowl of noodles. Ordered a bowl of Nori Uma, and I was delighted. As its name suggests, this yummylicious bowl of noodles comes with nori - seaweed. Not 1 sheet, but 3 huge sheets of seaweed, with fragrant shoyu soup and 2 generous pieces of grilled chashu. What I loved about this is not only the combination of each ingredient's taste, but that light smokey taste that has infused in the chashu, and leaves a pleasant taste lingering on your taste buds.
RM25.90 for this generous bowl of ramen. Customers can also expect good customer service from the restaurant crew :)

Famous for their roast pork, we decided to give this a try. Braved the weekend traffic and parking shortage at Sri Petaling, but its worth it. With the crackling sound from the skin at each bite and juicy tender meat that goes well with apple sauce, this meal certainly sets your taste buds dancing! No wonder its the highlight of this cafe :)
Wished that the portion could be a tad more, but its still worth it at RM25.
Plus, the cozy inviting ambiance with smooth jazzy tunes in the background makes you smile even more. Happy taste buds and a happy smile - will be back again!

If u enjoy eating pork (sorry, piggies!) u will probably want to check out this place. Famous for their soft pork bone, this small shop lot is rather packed most days, and nights of course. My fav is none other than their classic soft pork bone noodles. Served with a generous amount of tender meat melting off the soft bone, it's definitely addictive. Plus, the rather generous amount of lightly fried garlic in the soup gives this bowl of noodles that extra oomph!
Whenever I'm here, it's a no brainer, definitely ordering this classic. Its the next best alternative of pork noodles! RM11.90 with a generous portion.
