Duck Confit Hash; A Pleasant Surprise While the presentation could use more color, this brunch item (till 3pm) genuinely surprised me with the creamy duck confit ($17) infused with sweet potato, caramalised onions and cheese.

Good, But Not As Good As Before Beef Rendang Lasagne ($16) Great flavours here, strongly reminiscent of beef Rendang as expected, especially from that kick you get from the spiciness. However, I found the beef to be too dry, and the pasta sheets to be too hard.

Ginger Lemonade / Iced Lemon Tea The ginger lemonade is made using actual fresh ginger juice. I like how the zing of fresh ginger plays off that sweet-tart base 》$6 Each

Miso Pork Belly Bowl The miso pork belly bowl comes with homemade pickled cabbage, yakiniku sauce, onsen egg, sesame seed, spring onion and chunky slices of pork belly laid on top. The pork belly was thick and slightly charred to a nice burnt flavour. It was tender and juicy but I couldn’t taste the miso. Dipping it with the yakinuku sauce helps with the flavouring 》$17.90

Chilli Crab Pasta Spaghetti cooked with homemade chilli crab sauce and curry leaves, presented with a crunchy soft shell crab on top. The pasta was al-dente with a chewy bite. The sauce was done with the right amount of sweetness and a tinge of spiciness 》$18.90

Rodenbach Grand Cru Finally found a beer I really actually liked! Not a beer fan here. This craft beer was somehow a little like wine with the fruitiness. And the sourness was very palatable. I gotta go back before it's gone! It was $9-10/half a pint (the glass was full!)

Great Selection Had the breakfast stout as well and it was so flavourful and fragrant. It had hints of toffee and vanilla, and was extremely rich in flavour.

Favorite Craft Beer Bar Third time here and still falling in love with their incredibly diverse and unique craft beer options. We had 2 IPAs, the grapefruit infused IPA and the Free Frontier IPA. Both were incredibly fragrant and hoppy. We really loved that the bartenders were very knowledgeable regarding the beers and were able to make the best recommendations to us. The ambience here is great too!

Bravery Chicken Ragu Bravery Chicken Ragu ($18) features a piece of herbed chicken thigh on top of al dente spaghetti tossed with mushroom and roasted vegetables in creamy ragout sauce. The chicken is tender and moist, while the sauce is creamy but not too heavy. Cream pasta is not usually my first choice of pasta but this was enjoyable. The portion is very generous as well. Yums!

Lavender Latte ($6) Your typical latte but with the fragrance of lavender. Coffee was standard but the lavender made it quite unique - it was an interesting coming together of the aromas. The dried lavender bits can be quite strong so you may want to avoid actually chewing into them if you’re not a fan of strong aromas. I wouldn’t get this again but it was interesting to try. Visited on an afternoon of a Public Holiday and the cafe was not too busy, had some seats available for my friend and I. Staff were friendly.

Chocolate Mascarpone Waffle With Speculoos Gelato ($13.5) I love the pandan waffles here, so i tried another variant. The chocolate waffle has that sort of dark chocolaty taste in additional to the chocolate fudge already served in the dish. Has that small dots of sttawberry sauce(?) That kinda give sharp little fruitiness. Not sure where the mascarpone cream is tbh, and ice cream did not really taste like speculoos too much. That being said, it was satisfying 4.5/5

Oneh Oneh Waffles Small desert shop in rangoon road. Typical ice cream shop menu with waffles, and some cakes. Had the somewhat newly trending oneh oneh waffles with charcoal softserve ($13). Really has that pandan flavor in the light and crispy waffle, served with gula malaka sauce and coconut flakes as well. 4.5/5

Oneh Oneh Waffle with Teh Peng Soft Serve from The Cold Pantry (@thecoldpantry). The fragrant waffle played it like Prima Deli’s iconic waffle crossed with a particularly subservient mochi, whilst elsewhere the Teh Peng indeed possessed the familiar vapid vacancy of coffeeshop ice cube-intervened tea with condensed milk. 3.8/5

Pandan waffle flat white Was skeptical of the name but this really surprised us with its distinct floral pandan aroma and almost buttery creamy finish. Bought a bag of beans home to enjoy and it was just as good as in store!

Eggs Benedict Went with the unique stewed beef option and enjoyed the perfectly poached eggs and well-marinated beef. The brioche was airy albeit dry, and could do with more hollandaise sauce or butter for added moisture to the dish.

My Fav Mexican Food! We spent $40-$50 per person, for 2 Mains and 2 Signature Margaritas, with tortilla chips on the house! The food and drinks were SUPER yummy and close to Mexican food I've had in US! Portions are generous too. I'll definitely go back again.

Chicken Chimichanga Last night I tried the Chicken Chimichanga at Café Iguana. This Mexican appetiser consists of a deep fried burrito stuffed with chicken, a variety of grilled vegetables on top of rice and served with a generous dollop of guac and sour cream. The vegetables were perfect! They were soft, fresh, and delicious. With every bite, I could taste the love that they put into their food. I thought the guac and sour cream provided a refreshing touch to every bite. However, I didn’t enjoy the chicken as much. Make sure you eat the food quickly, because once the burrito gets cold, it doesn’t taste as good. Served on a wooden platter, the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and had a sweeping view of the Singapore River and CQ. I am on the quest to find the best Mexican restaurant in Singapore, and this may be it! This restaurant is a bit on the pricey end, but is perfect for celebrations. Riverside Point #01-03
