Donut peach/flat peach or whatever it is called, when it is in season it goes at £1 a box (6 pieces). You can get them in supermarket or pasar Malam at around RM16 a box.

When you are traveling, do as the locals do. Eat fresh figs.

Fresh nectarine is in season.

Generous portion of meat. Full house frequently. Slightly longer serve time. Bonus: though under the stress of high turn table rate, service remains decent.

Scrumptious delicious. Big portion. Maybe a little adjustment to the recipe is needed. Because of the cheese and sauce, burger becomes too salty.

Durians that just fell from the tree are so fresh you can taste them in the flesh. This is local bred from Sri Aman.

Local snack. Fried banana fritters topped with cheese. But I just found out it is actually an Indo recipe. We Sarawakians like them just as much here. 😁

Our favourite sushi. Eel is tasty and of quality.

The price is a little more expensive (maybe RM2-5) than Sushi King or Sakae Sushi. But it is a restaurant. Quality is good and as a jappy food fan, I think the price is reasonable, worth every penny spent.

We only cook these crabs with tomato sauce and chillie sauce. You can slightly steam whole crabs and store them in the freezer. Take the amount of crabs you need, wash and clean the gills and intestines before you cook them with sauce that you like.

A local delicacy where bananas are slightly pressed and grille on charcoal. Serve with a variety of sauce, from durian to cheese and chocolate. It is said you've never been to Makkasar if you've never tried pisang epe.
