featuring items from wild olives - (1) my favourite bacon and mushroom cream pasta, (2) chicken chop with teriyaki sauce, (3) pork chop with whole grain mustard sauce, and (4) teriyaki pork balls. pair these with a variety of beers from brick by brick, available at @lepantrysg. not an alcohol person but the naked seal pale ale was really easy to drink. crisp, slightly astringent and not bitter at all!

thank you @salutventures for having me!

totally came here for pastas but the real mvp was the roasted pork rack. the truffle beef tagliatelle was also good and would have been my favourite if not for a tiny friend we found it in towards our last few spoonfuls but they were apologetic about it, hence the complimentary tiramisu lol. i also ordered gnocchi in pesto sauce because so many people tried to relate my previous ig handle to it so I had to thoroughly know what it is; it was ok, the pesto sauce was delicious but nothing to go crazy about. and finally, mentaiko pasta was a letdown, the kind of disappointment you don’t need in life.

available in salted chicken and nyonya chicken flavours, these rice dumplings are going for $2.50 at @7elevensg stores islandwide. they also come nicely packaged so no oily fingers!

thank you @daintyx @bluetotem for sending these rice dumplings over!

brown sugar was hardly detectable and the creme brûlée one was just normal brown sugar fresh milk topped with cream and torched sugar which dissolves into nothing after a while. the boba tea pancakes were better; tea was evident in the pancakes but $9.90 is still a lot of pay for this novelty.

the prawn aglio olio is one for spicy food lovers! pasta and prawns tossed in spicy sichuan peppercorn and garlic sauce, but I have a complaint that is it comes with waxed sausage bits in it and I don’t eat waxed sausages. pastas here are interestingly infused with butterfly pea flower so they come out blue; delicious but a bit freaky lol.

thank you @pastasupremosg for having me!

their specialty, and also one of our favourites, is the steamed pot chicken soup. according to the team, the broth is chicken essence obtained through a pressure-steam technique where no water is involved! other favourites of mine are the lemongrass grilled seabass (like a dry and less spicy version of chong qing grilled fish) and poached egg salad. also riding on the brown sugar trend, yunnans offers brown sugar soy pudding that makes for a sweet but light finish to the meal!

thank you @brandcellar and @yunnans for having me! 🤘🏽
