their specialty, and also one of our favourites, is the steamed pot chicken soup. according to the team, the broth is chicken essence obtained through a pressure-steam technique where no water is involved! other favourites of mine are the lemongrass grilled seabass (like a dry and less spicy version of chong qing grilled fish) and poached egg salad. also riding on the brown sugar trend, yunnans offers brown sugar soy pudding that makes for a sweet but light finish to the meal!

thank you @brandcellar and @yunnans for having me! 🤘🏽
the pizzas here are freshly baked in a wood-fired oven to achieve a thin, smokey, and chewy crust. go for the quattro formaggi that is made with four cheeses: mozzarella, gorgonzola, parmesan, smoked scamorza, and add on $1 for a side of honey to get a delicious sweet-savoury combination. their aglio olio and mentaiko pastas are quite good too!
•
happy hour promo: from 5pm to 8pm daily, selected pizzas and pastas are available at only $10 and $8 respectively!

thank you @pizzatimesingapore for having us!
I love coriander and the beef was coated in some damn good chinese marination that was herbal and spicy. it’s a pity that we ruined a few pieces of these gems by overlooking the beef though. 10/10 will return to this hotpot place!!
for the month of april, choose either prawn beehoon noodles, nasi lemak, or kaya butter toast set, and get another one for free. promotion is valid islandwide on only 4 april.

thank you @oldtownwhitecoffeesingapore and @andwhyte for having me!
this cafe features 20+ cakes at once and they serve delicious coffee too. the salted caramel cheesecake was super satisfying and it was such a huge slice so it is good for sharing, except that I don’t share.
this outlet features mainly grilled fish and chicken dishes and diners get access to their free flow salad bar. I had their dried atka mackerel set - while it was annoying that the fish was studded with bones, the fish meat was salty, smokey, fragrant and it went very well with rice! I also like their green tea soba and tan tan men from their salad bar. don’t leave here without trying their coffee jelly + cream too!

thank you @studio155sg and @ramen_keisuke for inviting me! ✌🏽

I always like their drunken cockles and salted egg fish skin. their herbal chicken soup is also good!
fish dishes here are quite well done: salmon confit (first pic) and sea bass w chorizo sausages (fourth pic). other featured items are duck confit and black angus bavette which are also delicious!

thank you @hungerskitchenbyarome and @cliffton_jt for inviting!
coming up with this cafe must have been tedious - the effort to source for replicas of cloaks, ties, wands, ornaments, little things we see in the movies, and dark wooden furniture matching with the theme. butterbeers are sold here at rm14 each, and the butterbeer waffle (read: warm popcorn and butterbeer ice cream on dense waffle) sets you back at only 15rm! at rm10 per pax, you get full access to their range of props for photo-taking and they also have merchandises for sale. just take my money!!

p/s I re-watch the harry potter series from time to time, anyone else too?
sweet sour mango, light sponge cake, and cold bird’s nest - what’s there to not love! in fact all of their pastries here are coated with a layer of bird’s best. honestly there isn’t much taste to bird’s nest but knowing that you are eating something premium just feels good lol.
