Taiwanese Lunch The good thing about getting a set is you don’t have to worry about picking dishes, you get to try a little of everything and you don’t have to worry about over ordering 😂 The dishes included are nicely portioned to feed the number of people as indicated. Lu Rou 2.0 - like how fatty and soft the meat is. Oyster Mushrooms - looks unassuming but I would say this is my favourite out of all the dishes. Rice - upgraded one portion of rice to Shiny Rice to try, which add lard & garlic oil, a good try as it makes the rice tastier. Rest of the dishes are pretty good, no complaints. I like how the soup, drinks & dessert are included as well, it just make the whole meal feels complete. Available for takeaway & delivery; FREE Islandwide Delivery(min. $60) or $10 for standard delivery(min. $30) — Family Value Regular Set (For 4) $68+

Burnt Chilli Chicken Bento Was so excited when they’re on burple beyond 1 for 1. Bought the burnt chilli chicken bento set. Was charged $16++ inclusive of the take away boxes. Before that I was thinking of ordering online and I remember clearly the chilli chicken bento set was $9.90. The cashier explained to me mine comes with dessert and drinks. Hence different price. This beyond deal was misleading

Rather Mediocre Pastas Supposedly one of their better pastas, but this turned out as disappointing as the crab pasta. The sauce was really watery and tasted more like water heavily mixed with salt & pepper. The only redeeming point would be the generous servings of seafood, but I wouldn’t order this dish again.

Rather Mediocre Pastas We had the crab pasta here, and for the hefty price tag, it was really disappointing. The sauce was watery and lacked any sort of texture, while the fried soft shell crab was slightly soggy when served. Even with burpple beyond’s 1-for-1, I would hesitate before having their pastas again. Maybe the other mains will fare slightly better.

Mentaiko Kaiju Armoury Burger ($24 - 1 For 1) Was craving some good burgers and decided to give the armoury a shot! I ordered the Ohana Burger ($22) while the bf had the Mentaiko Burger ($24, pictured). We also requested to change one of the fries to sweet potato fries (+$2). First impression : serving (of fries) was insanely huge!! Very generous portion and extremely crispy (though I found it to be slightly over fried). We requested for the cheese on my burger to be transferred over to my bf's and they were able to accommodate this request so thumbs up on that! Burger wise, mine was quite okay. The bun was nice and fluffy but still maintained it's toastedness (which I greatly appreciate). However, I feel the sauce and patty was quite forgettable - not bad but not mind blowing. The bf's mentaiko burger was very interesting and the salmon ikura really changed the flavor profile of the burger. Overall, we paid $24 for the meal (no gst, no service charge - huge boon!) Wasn't the best burger we had but definitely extremely value for money, given the taste, ambience and price point. Will be back with the one-for-one again :)

Choose either FREE Islandwide Delivery OR 20% Discount If You Pick Up From Wheeler’s Yard. Because my brother-in-law picked up the food from Wheeler’s Yard himself, he got a 20% discount. And that translated to a tidy amount of savings since he settled the bill for our whole family at home. The choice of the men was the bestselling “Suki Beef Rice Bowl” ($19.90 before discount) and they very much enjoyed the sliced oyster blade steak in housemade sukiyaki sauce. It’s served with an onsen egg and braised daikon (Japanese radish) on Japanese rice embellished in shio kombu and seasame seeds. While my niece got the healthy “60 Degree Chicken Breast” ($18.90 before discount), a large piece of very tenderly-cooked protein on housemade potato mash accompanied by grilled butter corn, roasted hazelnuts and shio konbu, I opted for my all-time favourite, the “Vegetable Rice Bowl” ($15.90 before discount). The fresh-tasting, Japanese-inspired creation has never failed to satisfy me with its base of Japanese rice drizzled in a sweetish sauce and the silken tofu, mushrooms and assorted vegetables heaped on top. The lovely flavours and textures from the juicy “bok choy”, sweet and smoky roasted corn kernels, crisp haricots verts (they’re the skinny French beans you find mostly served at fine dining restaurants) and the aforementioned braised daikon are what I love most about it. My brother-in-law also added two side dishes for us to share: the very addictive beer-battered, crunchy-fried Furikake Cauliflower ($7.90 before discount) and a Glazed Sweet Potatoes that featured a housemade yuzu soy sauce ($5.90 before discount). We gobbled both of them up along with everything else in no time at all. If you like well-executed tasty dishes that are superb value-for-money, please click on the link in @wheelersyard bio on Instagram to order. They do FREE ISLANDWIDE DELIVERY too if you prefer to #stayhomesg.

Ok Only Located in an quiet neighbourhood, one would have easily missed this place.. I like the quiet and laidback Setting. They have hugh tables to hugh groups and with Social Distancing measures inplace, it was weird. Limited choices for the burpple 1for1, had porky bowl & aglio Olio. Aglio Olio wasn't garlicky enough to my liking. Which is rare, considering how simple this is to make. Porky Bowl was alright only, a Healthier Choice. The Truffle fries were the nicest of what we ordered, fries topping was unique with some seaweed & seasame seasoning, & that was the only saving grace. Why, I Visited Their Sister Company Wheelers estate Which Fared So Much Better Really.

Porky don 🐷 Had the Burpple one for one experience at Wheeler’s yard ($24++), came with 2 mains (from a choice of 3) and 2 drinks (ice lemon tea or ginger lemonade). This is the porky don, which is described as flavourful, enjoyable and sufficient. Some may say it is bountiful, scrumptious and hypertension-inducing but definitely worth it. The ginger lemonade was so ginger that Ron Weasly would have made friends with it. Would go for the ice lemon tea if you’re seeking less adventure on your palate. The chicken breast was healthy, nutritious and tender, even marathon runners would eat it. 7/10 because airconditioning at the place is a little weak plus it is not the easiest entrance to find.

Mouthwatering Nyonya food at home! @shootandspoon was quite enigmatic when I probe her for some clues about our #eatsharelovesg meal. My dinner consist of: • Lemak Ayam Chilli Merah (stewed chicken in rich coconut gravy) • Sambal Udang Petai (prawns and stink beans sautéed in spicy homemade fried shrimp sambal) • Ikan Penyet (smashed fried pomfret!) • Nonya Chap Chye (braised cabbage with beancurd skin, mushrooms and black fungus) • Bubur Hitam (black glutinous rice dessert) • Chef's Special Sambal Belacan steamed rice Fat Belly Address: 10 Jalan Serene, Unit 01-04, Singapore 258748 #fatbellysg #sgunited #stayhomeforsg #savefnbsg #burpple

So good! Fat Belly has impeccable service and a stylish, intimate setting. We ate our food at the bar, an appropriate distance away from each other for the purposes of social distancing. The food came quickly and was DELICIOUS. Our sides came first. The creamed kale was my partner’s favourite and mine was the pomme puree. The pomme puree in particular was a smooth, buttery, perfect side for the tender, juicy and flavourful steaks (we had the Deckle and Denver) that was our main course. The cheesecake we had for dessert was also impeccable. It melted in the mouth and had the perfect touch of sweetness. I absolutely would love to come here again.

Delicious Food! The steaks we had here were excellent. The cuts were of great quality (I personally preferred the tenderness of the Deckle) and they were cooked to textbook perfection. We wanted to try something different, so we opted for the Creamed Kale and Pomme Puree instead of the Truffle Fries. Both were great but I enjoyed the kale more because it nicely soaked up the sauce while still retaining its crunchiness. The burnt cheesecake we shared for dessert was also delicious, and we felt the berries and honey were a nice touch to compliment the rich creaminess of the cake. All in all, a great meal. Highly recommended.
