Returned a second time for the pistachio icecream again because it’s so good! Charcoal waffles were decent. But brownie was a tad too dry and sweet for my liking, though it was a bittersweet pair with the matcha icecream. Will be back again to try the other flavours!
Twist: original coconut x cacao bliss (6.50SGD), topped with nut & goji berry medley(2.00SGD) and burnt toffee sauce (1.00SGD). Virgin vegan ice cream experience. It was really lightweight with a slightly grainy texture. Not a complete replica of dairy ice cream but still a refreshing dessert. Almost like sorbet but a non-fruity one.
Thai Basil Fusilli Salmone, Sausage Platter and Smoked Salmon Salad
Eggs florentine (SGD16), Torched Salmon (SGD16), The Tuckshop Breakfast combo #2 (SGD16), Soy Almond Chai Tea Latte (SGD7)
Salmon soba ($18) and Creamy Mushroom on Sourdough ($15)
Spinach Tamago ($18), Bangers and Mash ($18) and Eggs Bene ($18). It was good, albeit nothing extraordinary. They do have very friendly staff, which makes the whole experience so much better already.
Devonshire Cream Tea Set ($11.50) x2. Includes 2 scones, 2 sandwiches, a slice of fruit cake and a drink(coffee/tea). Lovely cafe to chill out on a Sunday afternoon.
Sambal Okra, Hotplate Brinjal, Sweet & Sour Mushrooms, Claypot Vinegar Stew, Seaweed Rice. Food was served soon after we ordered and t'was pretty good! Menu consists mostly Chinese dishes but they do offer afew Italian items like pizza and pasta. Will be back to try more dishes!
Tucked away in the streets of Jalan Mas Puteh, off West Coast Road. T'was a pleasant little cafe to chill out. Baked Chilean Miso Seabass ($28) and Beef Tenderloin ($30). Seabass was fresh and baked perfectly. Quite a massive portion of mash potato that tasted authentic albeit slightly blend (but yay healthier¿). Steak was done a medium, and it was pretty good too. Definitely had our fill from this hearty meal!
