What I’d give to have Wheeler’s Yard’s “Iced Chendol-presso Ball” this very minute.
That frozen sphere is a concentrated hit of intense, aromatic coffee and gula melaka, perfumed with pandan leaves to be released under the heat of warm milk. Being able to control the proportion of milk to flavoured espresso is a big plus for me because I prefer to taste more of the rich coffee.
A great drink to sip on anytime. But perhaps not too late at night unless for whatever reason, you need a powerful rush of caffeine to keep you awake.

Perfect soft boiled eggs + crisp kaya butter toast + nice kopi $4.8

When all you need is just an old school coconut tart and a rich cup of Kopi for a splendid afternoon tea.

I like that the coconut tarts here are not overly greasy and not too sweet .

The Kopi -o here is one of my favourites . Rich and aromatic .

Hmm... Hands down winner of the Korean chicken wings war!

Gobbed the creamy bone marrow onto toasted sourdough, then crammed the whole thing in my mouth. I found the marrow's richness nicely flavoured enough by the smoky bacon, sourdough crumbs and pickled shallots topping it. But the accompanying bowl of garlic cream was another great source of cut-through whenever I craved one.
This delicious indulgence was worth the calories for sure. I would add it's probably best shared between two people, so there's tummy room to try more dishes. Unless you're a rabid fan of marrow. Then of course, feel free to ignore me 😆.

Detoured to Springleaf while otw to flat viewing. Was in the mood for murtabak so ordered the small chicken murtabak while she had the portobello mozzerella. I must say that so far this is one of the better pratas that I have tasted in Sg ( Mr and Mrs Mohgan's is too far for me). Prata texture was crispy yet chewy at the same time. More imptly it was not too oily. Will be back to try their famed prata creations in the future.
