As advertised. Great bun to patty ratio. Every bite is so easy, it's smooth like a knife slicing through butter. Meat was good, but the bun makes it so much better. Get the large cheese fries, forget the truffle option. Definitely will visit again.
For people who find burgers too filling, Dojo served savory snacks too like this Komba Bao. Comes in 2 pieces at a price of $6, the braised pork belly is sandwiched between the fried mantou buns. I just can't stop munching on the fried mantou buns because that's something e traditional komba buns doesn't have. The pork belly just taste too good and I wished I still have the capacity to eat more of it after having a burger set all to myself!
The cakes and tarts at this new patisserie are terribly expensive (about $7-9) for tiny slices, so @pigg0ink and I opted to try just one item, the Choux Creme. It turned out to be absolutely delightful, the mottled crust crispy and slightly flaky, its entire cavity filled with a velvety vanilla bean custard that might have been too dense, if not for the clever and unexpected incorporation of crunchy almond nougat bits. Wouldn't hesitate to get this again!
Two thumbs up for these fluffy waffles crisped brown on the surfaces, as well as for the ice creams – the hazelnut, sweet and Kinder Bueno-ish, was a great combination with the slightly sour strawberry cheesecake, smooth and rich with bits of buttery crumble.
Dessert, sweeter.
Arguably the best waffle in town.
Check out Magnum Pleasure Store, at Clarke Quay. I had the Magnum Fondue (good for 2pax) at $25+
Awesome honey bites😀 better than those I had tried in Paris! $3.20 for mini sizes 5-6
Seductive secret between brittle caramelized topping and the smooth creamy custard beneath. We are having desserts for dinner!
Sea salt gula melaka freshly churned ice cream concoctions prepared with handcrafted toppings.
Housed in the iconic Tong Ah building, this new kid on the Keong Saik block has been the talk of the town in recent months. The burgers come in beef, chicken, lamb, and vegetarian options, which makes it easy for eating in a group. The Baby Huey is a crowd-pleaser - a 150g beef patty slathered in their 'TOM' sauce and miso mayo. Also good is the Rambo; the lamb is cooked to tender perfection, paired with eggplant pickle & cucumber aioli. Please get a side of the Naughty Fries, hand-cut chips nestled beneath a spicy bearnaise sauce, beef chilli and parmesan. Crazy good!
