Deep fried diced chicken with chopped dried chillies, cashews, chives and Sichuan peppercorn served with crunchy ā€œyou tiaoā€ fritters topped with maple syrup

Dish is essentially č¾£åéø” (å°č¾£) - quite comparable to those you get in Sichuan restaurants! Maple fritters were sticky and slightly hard/doughy - perhaps unnecessary for this dish.

ā€˜Hor Funā€™ wok fried flat noodles served with premium A4 Kagoshima Wagyu, crispy deep-fried hor fun strips, poached egg and finished with truffle gravy.

Was quite a small portion, but any more might have been too much truffle for a meal. Nevertheless, it was a great dish with the contrasting textures between the deep fried horfun strips and normal horfun. Definitely a must-order here - will be back again for this!

Tried the chicken for the first time instead of the usual fish and was pleasantly surprised! Chicken skin was crisp, meat tender and the teriyaki sauce wasn't too sweet or overpowering.

Grilled octopus tentacle slices with garlic aioli and crushed potatoes, served on a hot plate. The grilled octopus was really tender and not rubbery at all. Crushed potatoes were really nicely done and had some crisp to it due to the hotplate. There was abit too much garlic aioli, but not a big issue as you can just scrape it off and set it aside.

Ribeye steak served with seasonal vegetables (beans & carrots), mushroom potato au gratin, and 2 sauces. Steak was done medium, as requested but could have been better done with a char for some crisp.

Loved these onion rings - freshly fried REAL onions served with a nice tangy BBQ sauce

Got the lunch set for $9.90 which included this pasta and an iced lemon tea - extremely worth it! Pasta was freshly made in store, a little thick in my opinion, but went well with the hearty ragu with a generous amount of beef.

Was pleasantly surprised to be served my pokƩ in a ceramic plate instead of the old take away bowls. The portions of the toppings were generous, and items like the salmon and avocados were fresh.

Extremely worth it at its price point as this Atka Mackeral is quite a large fish. Alot of bones, but they are easy to separate from the fish. It also isn't an oily fish, so you wouldn't feel jelak even after eating the entire dish.

Each charcoal grilled fish set comes with a nice pot of rice, onsen egg, kimchi and free flow salad buffet. Buffet contents vary day to day.

2nd time having this dish here - really like the fish-fat ratio without it being too oily like most salmon belly. Each charcoal grilled fish set comes with a nice pot of rice, onsen egg, kimchi and free flow salad buffet. Buffet contents vary day to day.

One of the cheaper avocado toasts in town, with such a generous serving of fresh avocado! Rye toast had a hint of coffee aroma to it, but I would have preferred if it came freshly toasted. Added a jerk chicken side (from the build your own bowl section), though the flavour was a little too strong for my liking.

Tomi sushi is one Jap restaurant that never fails to satisfy when you're craving fresh sashimi/sushi and authentic Japanese fare. The set lunches are especially worth it - and this particular one is my go-to everytime I'm here. Super fresh toro, and soba that is extremely chewy - just like the ones in Japan!
