Red Holic specialises in korean rice cakes and dumplings. This dish of tteokbokki stew with beef brisket is in original sauce (able to select less/more sweet/spicy) and comes with a variety of ingredients such as egg, fish cake, glass noodles, ramen noodles, sweet cabbage, thick rice cake, and skinny rice cake. Rice cakes came in 2 versions: the thicker ones were more firm but still soft, while the skinny ones were nua. Beef brisket was grilled slightly, adding another dimension to this dish. Upon first taste, the stew was delightful and delicious but became jelat towards the end when the sauce has boiled down.

This is a huge pot of stew and can feed 2 famished persons or 3 persons satisfyingly.

I loved this bowl of simple salty soup. The soup provides a good contrast to the thick gochujang sauce (if you’re ordering their stew as well!). Folded strips of fishcake on sticks were thick, juicy, with a slight chewy bite. So filling.

3 thick slices of 5 kinds of sashimi: salmon, salmon belly, tuna, scallop, and yellow tail fish. Good for a quick fix for sashimi cravings.

Signed up for $30 membership on the spot and redeemed an additional plate of 5 pieces of salmon sashimi. Membership comes with 2x $15 vouchers and discounts on every meal (20% during birthday month, otherwise 10%).

Lovely milky flavours. Had 1-1 for double scoops and went for: green matcha, salted caramel, caramel biscuit (caramel loaded with pieces of lotus biscuit yum!), and rum&raisin. Was not a fan of caramel mochi (burnt taste!) or mango sorbet (tasted of dried mangoes)

Turn to this modest healthy snack stand to quell peckish cravings the next time you visit Funan Mall. The Regular Gran Bowl ($6.80) comes with a base of choice (milk, soy, yogurt), plain granola, a basic fruit and a super fruit each. Burppler Daisy S. recommends going for soy milk to accompany the granola, cherries, blueberries and a drizzle of honey. Wash it down with a zippy Mango Mint ($5.80) smoothie and you're good to go.

Salmon aburi were lightly torched with a char fragrance, and licked on with terriyaki (?) sauce. Presentation is as such - simple meal.

Shrimp prawn roll fried lightly, encasing juicy prawns within. Sedaaapp. Will return for this dish.

The wok-fried beehoon sauce was saltish (msg or reduced prawn broth?) and heavily larded. Did not quite understand the hype over this.

Super satisfying with freshly fried toppings of prawns and seasonal vegetables. Attention is paid to the arrangment in every single bowl before serving to you. Portion is huge and will return with an empty stomach. Choice of multigrain rice available.

Generous display of ingredients with slices of banana and a thick layer of granola tucked within the creamy acai.

I have never tasted such juicy and perfectly cooked fish. Fish retains its pinkish centre.
