my usual hang out spot Have been coming back here frequently. Legend cafe has this modern kopitiam alfresco dining concept, with live band and their own brewed Legend beer. Starker beer is also available. The outdoor dining can oversee the punggol reservoir, this is why i enjoy chilling here. A good place to unwind with live band that sing well. Decided to try the food but was dissatisfied.. The seafood fried rice and hokkien mee doesn’t have the wok hei and not fragrant .. pretty steep pricing as well, going at $10+ for small plate. Gee taste was strong for hokkien mee too. only the sunny side up was done well. Guess the western option will be better here. Truffle fries was good.

Fantastically grilled seabass Some of you like your seabass nicely cooked skin-down, delicately plated with creamy sauces and quenelles of whatevs; some like it gently steamed with aromatics and soy sauce; but when I think of a good seabass, @camp_kilo’s beautifully grilled one is what comes to mind. Armed with the basic salt and pepper, wedges of lime, and an insane mastery over fire, Camp Kilo’s no-fuss take means you really get to taste that lovely sweet, fresh fish. There’re no fancy sauces to detract you from the fish (they do have a few fantastic housemade sauces on the side if you really want em), which means they’ve got no way to hide any mistakes like bad produce or overcooked fish. That I get perfectly succulent, moist and tender fish every time speaks tons.

Camp Kilo An outdoor restaurant concept that soak you with the camping lifestyle experience with all the roasted food and of course beer pong. It is better to go with a large clique (6pax and above) for it's full rack of roasted pork ribs ($30) 🙌🏻 Also, the sambal stingray is so good to die for! It is 500g and cost only $25.00 and it's the thick type, so different from any place like chomp chomp. Really worth going and soak into the chillax ambience 😌 Avg per pax: $20

Naughty Pork & Bean Unique dishes served in Kilo, surrounded with rustic environment and a good view. The dishes we decided to order was the <Naughty Pork & Bean ($28)>. It was a dish that consisted of roasted pork, which was fantastically done, where the pork meat slowly melts in your mouth without you chewing too much, tom yum beans, kale chips and chorizo and poached egg. This dish was fantastic, the mixture of the meat, and the sauce of the beans created a rainbow of flavour in your mouth, really enjoyed the unique concept of their dishes, will definitely be back to try their other dishes.

Outram Park Fried Kway Teow Mee. Located at 531A Upper Cross Street, unit 02-18 Hong Lim Market & Food Centre, Singapore 051531. . . . Fried Kway Teow, $4. Totally worth the Michelin Bib Gourmand, this plate of fried Kway Teow is so awesomely shiokkkk!! Every plate is fried to wok hei perfection, with bits of crispy pork lard and lots of cockles, beansprouts! We likes it with more egg so we will usually top up $0.50 to add more eggs to our noodles. Love that unique black sauce that’s so black with a little sweetness, making this plate so fantastic and irresistible. Mouth after mouth, we couldn’t stop feeding ourselves with it! . . . Be prepared to q at least 45 mins to an hour on average on peak meal hours. If you want to avoid the crowd, you should go earlier in the morning as they open as early as 6am, closes at 3.30pm and closes on Sunday/PHs. Cravings & Tummy satisfied✔️ . . . #hungryunicornsg #outramparkfriedkwayteowmee #friedkwayteow #michelinbibgourmand

🍝Fried Kway Teow 😋(3/5) Joined the long queue and waited for this famous food up to 45mins. Although overall was taste good but prefer it to be salty than sweet taste.

Char kway teow ($4.50) ⭐️ 4.5/5 ⭐️ 🍴One of the most famous #charkwayteow that has a usual queue of around an hour. At the unusual breakfast time of 8am, there was only two people in front of me so that’s a way to try this without waiting. The noodles are flavourful without being overly oily and the cockles were very soft and chewy, among the best I’ve tried. It is truly a good plate of yummy fried noodles 📍Outram Park Fried Kway Teow Mee, #02-18, Hong Lim Market & Food Centre, 531A Upper Cross St, Singapore
