Iberico Secreto w/ Creamy Truffle Linguine Oh boy was this good. The pasta, iberico bits, and creamy truffle sauce all came together so well. Didn't even feel jelak at all.Try it!

Grilled Habanero Chicken ($22) Juicy, tender, well-seasoned chicken. Throw in crispy charred bits, and you've got a delectable piece of meat worth droolng over. Coleslaw was light and tangy, adding a nice crunch to refresh the palate between bites. Mashed potato (?) was kinda pasty though.

Frieda 3.75⭐ Catch up with the ladies. Started with beer & wine before the Happy Hour ends. Ordered the platter which comprise of the Schweinshaxe, Sausages, Schnitzel, Roasted chicken, Sauerkraut & Mashed Potato. Also ordered a salad and french fries as one of them is a vegetarian for the day. Crispy Skin Pork Knuckles a.k.a Schweinshaxe This beloved traditional dish from Germany is highly regarded by many meat lovers. The restaurant tries to replicate the taste and texture of the traditional pork knuckle served from a Bavarian restaurant. I would say the pork knuckle was quite well cooked, with a crispy and flavorful skin but I at least expect to find tender and succulent meat beneath it. Nevertheless, the portion size was generous, making it a hearty meal worthy of at least 2 adults. This dish was served with the traditional sides like sauerkraut and mash potatoes, they were fine but I expected a little more. Overall, the ambience of the environment made up for the overall experience. There is room for potential. If you are someone looking to experience German culinary pork knuckles is always recommended.

Sichuan Pickles Noodles Total damage using Burpple’s 50% deal: $26 Orders: Sea bass & sichuan pickles noodles Beef & sichuan pickles noodles Tofu w century egg Shredded cucumber and beancurd Lava egg Drink Overall, the meal was very satisfying and filling. There were a lot of noodles and meat. Shredded cucumber and beancurd was unfortunately not as great because it is quite tough. Service was excellent too! Definitely will be coming back to try other dishes in their menu!

sesame noods 👌 Decided to checkout this noodle bar in order to leach off of my friend’s burpple premium subscription (ending soon 😛) I got the Dry Shredded Chicken Sesame Noodles 🐔🍜 for ($10.80 i think). It came w this beautiful tomato soup which was perfectly tangy 🍅🥫 (tastes like haidilao apparently i wouldn’t know 😔). The noodles were fresh and springy and the sesame sauce was light and refreshing 🧊🤤. U can see an extra egg in the picture, that’s because my friend doesn’t like Hanjuku eggs (sacrilege fr 😡) but idm cause he gave it to me (protein gains fam 💪). The egg was a bit over done but it was still yummy 👍. Towards the end i added some chilli oil and that was bussin as well 👩‍🍳 Overall probably the best sesame noodles i’ve ever had, try it out! Rating 4.2/5

Angel Hair Pasta ($16.90 before Burpple Beyond 1-for-1) As for our 2nd main, we went with their angel hair pasta which featured truffle and ikura. We enjoyed this more than the buta mayonnaise. The pasta was al dente and the truffle notes was nutty and earthy without being overwhelming. Portion though was a little on the small side and ikura was also a little on the more side and was closer to ebiko than ikura!

Buta Mayonnaise ($16.90 before Burpple Beyond 1-for-1) Miss K and I were feeling peckish after spending most of Saturday in the office and were in the mood for an early dinner. A quick search of our options on #BurppleBeyond led us to Yakizen, a homely quiet izakaya located right smack in the heart of the CBD along Circular Road. Their 1-for-1 mains options is rather limited. We decided to check out the intriguing buta mayonnaise which featured pan-fried pork belly with mayonnaise. To be honest, this dish turned out better than expected as the rich creamy mayonnaise paired surprisingly well with the savoury teriyaki sauce. It did get a little too cloy towards the end as we did not pair it with rice. The portions though was rather small and at $16.90++ would be rather overpriced without the #BurppleBeyond deal.

Refresh yourself with their best-selling Aiyu Jelly with Cocktail ($2.50), Aiyu Jelly with Aloe Vera ($2.50) and Qball Soursop with Cocktail ($3). For rainy day comforts, their Green Bean Soup ($1.80), Red Bean Soup ($1.80) and Cheng Tng ($2.20) comes in hot options.

Chimichanga🌮 Went to Chimichanga for dinner 2 days ago and ordered their Pico De Gallo Quesadillas and their Loaded Nachos Chicken for 2 pax!😇 Overall ratings 7/10! Portion size for the nachos were generous, Quesadilla is good too but service is pretty bad...☹️

Fresh seafood sashimi on delicious rice We got the premium Don ($22.80) + drink ($3.80) burpple set and it was absolutely delicious - the scallop was sweet and fresh, the sashimi was a generous portion of tuna and salmon. And the rice was buttery and v umami with the seaweed flavours and bonito flakes mixed in! V affordable chirashi place in a central location.

Main Dish + Drink ($16.60) Located outside of International Plaza, this restaurant serves very affordable don! We got the Bafo Don ($12.80) with a Yuzu-based homemade drink ($3.80) with #BurppleBeyond - 2 mains and drinks @ $16.60! The lady boss was very friendly and shared with us the top-selling items on the menu. Highly recommend!

Super worth it! Super delicious! The seasoned rice was topped with fresh fish and various condiments and taste superb mixed together. The apple and yuzu drink was refreshing too!

The aiyu jelly lemon tea was refreshing and perfect for a hot day while the oolong tea latte comes with a nice and distinct taste of tea, well complemented with creamy fresh milk. Mochi Soy Creme Tea Latte Before I head to the Land of Bubble Tea in a few more days, I just have to have my boba fix! So, drawn to the warm mochi skewers, I got the Mochi Soy Creme Tea Latte ($5.80) at Wanpo Tea Shop. Tender and chewy, the mochi skewers were pleasantly soft and complementary to the fluffy soy creme. The sweetness was just right for me though the tea flavour was a tad too mild (even without ice). The soybean powder was a nice touch as it added some nutty flavour to the smooth concoction. The foam was also pretty fragrant and provided that extra decadence to the tea latte.

5.50 for 2!!! I bought the grilled meat and shredded chicken banh mi. THE SHREDDED CHICKEN BANH MI IS GOOD!!! The meat is flavourful and generously added. The grilled meat was disappointing, the meat tasted like vegetarian meat but my sis loved it. Overall, I’m still pretty happy w my banh mi.

Egg Pate & Shredded Chicken Banh Mi Used Burpple Beyond for the Egg Pate and Shredded Chicken Banh Mi non spicy order (Forgotten to take photo, haha). Both Banh Mi is very crispy and it resembles like a baguette, not soggy at all. 3.5⭐️/5 Egg Pate Band Mi (Damage:$5) The egg is fried and no runny yolk but it was served with pate (Meat Paste), corianders, lettuces , tomatoes and some kind of sweet chilli sauce which really surprisingly goes well with the egg. 3.5⭐️/5 Shredded Chicken Banh Mi (Damage: $5.50) The chicken is served dry and shredded with a orange mayo sauce which I think is a sriracha mayo? The taste reminds me of the mayo chicken from Delifrance but a charred and reduced mayo version. This Banh Mi was also stuffed with corianders, lettuces and tomatoes. Overall, this is Not the Break a Bank delicious kind of food to enjoy and the portion is like alot (around 6 inch/ half foot long). Totally worth it even without the 1 for 1.

BBQ Pork Banh Mi 6.5nett W Egg +0.8nett The egg by itself wasn't good because it's hard but it's fine when stuffed in banh mi so it adds volume and texture. The flavours are ok but it needs more meat. I came back thinking the next one I try would be better but their standard is always barely decent but not good. Sigh

🤘🏻Friends! Went to Friends Tasty Korea for dinner yesterday😄 Ordered the premium beef steak set($12/100g) and premium beef short ribs set($28/200g)! Also added on one kimchi soup($4) and one seafood soup($4)😋 Finally, ordered the garlic wings! Overall i love the banchan variety! The meat was decent but not the best I have tasted so far. The soups were okay too but the garlic wings even though was recommended in the menu, I do not really recommend it😅 Skin was not crispy and meat was a little soft so🤔 Overall cost is $99 after GST and Svc charge, filling for 4 people but would rate it a 6/10😅
