Not many places get pho right, but as Pho 4 All focuses their efforts on perfecting it, you can count on them to get your pho fix. For $10, you get a bowl of flat rice noodles in a light flavourful broth, topped with tender slices of beef (or flank and beef balls if you wish). As usual, it comes with bean sprouts and basil on the side. Also order the cha gio, Vietnamese fried spring rolls stuffed with chicken and vegetables as the perfect sidekick to your pho. Located conveniently at Jalan Pisang, this is a great spot for a simple date night – it’s Halal-certified too!

Meat is always my preference but VeganBurg makes me think twice about that. A champion in the vegetarian movement with organic and GMO-free products, their 100% soy patty burger is not only delicious but also healthy. There wasn't a drop of oil that burst from the burger nor the fries. I felt like I ate clean after my meal. If I had the budget, I could eat this everyday, or at least every Meat-Free-Monday.

*Ambience at the Eunos branch is really nice with carpet grass benches and couches to boast. Had a pleasant time studying!

Was looking for something light and this caught my eye. Didn't regret it one bit! Salted egg coating and calamari were generous and not too heavy. Loved the crust of the calamari too. Definitely ordering this again.

Studio Cafe SG is a new addition to Toa Payoh's buzzing food scene. Alongside local dishes like nasi goreng and nasi ayam penyet, expect western dishes like sirloin steak, pasta and even mussels. The food here is reasonably priced and there is no GST or service charge, so if you're looking for good food without breaking the bank, give this place a try!

I was pretty impressed when this came because it looked like one heck of a glorious mess. The burger featured a thick slab of juicy, honey chicken thigh that was really good! Somehow, the honey with barbecue sauce reminded me of MacDonald's curry sauce. The buns were toasted which is a plus point. Cajun fries went a bit too heavy on the seasoning but I think this is a pretty safe option if you want something substantial for lunch! Priced at $16.90.
