Personally find it too salty. Tried the hot and soy garlic chicken as well as the soy garlic seafood. It will be better they can reduce the saltiness. But it definitely taste better than KFC
It is unbelievable that in Koufu Food Court at Toa Payoh HDB Hub serves good Korean food. They have affordable and good Korean food such as Army Stew and Bimbimbap. They are very generous with their portion too! Try their Bimbimbap and you will love it!
The latest dessert craze, ice-cream roll! They make the ice cream on the spot with the ingredients chosen. You will also need to choose a base which is the ice-cream flavour and can choose to add in 1 or 2 toppings - base is Yakult, mixers are Nutella and Lychee. They will make it on the spot, on a cold metal slab. It is really not easy to do it as it requires a lot of arm strength.
No doubt it is worth trying!
Five by Five cafe is located at Thomson V Two and it is tucked away from the public eyes. It is a little cozy and bright cafe that I had accidentally stumbled upon. Not sure how long it was opened but they had quite a variety of food to choose from, brunch to mains and desserts.
I had a cafe latte and a chicken bleu. The food tasted yummy and coffee was strong for a latte. A place that is worth giving a try.
A great place for brunch food and simple desserts. The wow factor is their coffee art and they have really cute and wonderful 3D coffee art! You can request the characters you want or have the waiters or waitress decide for you. If you order a slice of cake there is also drawings on the plate served. A cafe that all will love.
Always long queue during the weekends, they serve good dry and soupy minced meat noodles! Undeniably, their soup is extremely sweet and deliciously yummy! Note they don't do night business, so visit them in the morning or afternoon!
They have three kinds of mochi, sweet, savoury and creamy milk. Had tried their black sesame, matcha and chocolate walnut! Totally interesting but need to eat it while its hot. Buy 3 and its only $5!
