The noodle was qq and it comes with minced meat and pork lard too! Soup was flavourful and I loved the think chunks of minced meat!

Must visit unique cafe in Singapore - @fangkocoffee !

Fangko is famous for their Smash Chimken! Here, you can choose your preferred spice level, which ranges from Level 1 to Level 21!

Here is what we tried:
-Wet Indomie with Chimken ($11): If you love creamy slurpy noodles, get the wet indomie version! Comes with shrimp crackers and an onsen egg too! Opted for level 1 spice and it was already kinda spicy for me!
-Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($14): This grilled cheese sandwich blew my mind and it was the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever tasted! This sandwich is filled with creamy avocado and topped with lots of shredded cheese! I think there was some marmite on the toasties as well, which elevated the taste! The whole combination is so good!
-Fangko Melaka Brew ($6): This coffee blew our mind! Have not tasted such fragrant coffee before! Rich and aromatic! For non-coffee drinkers, this is a good cup of coffee to start off with!
-Butterfly Lychee Soda ($7): Pretty colours and super refreshing!

A very enjoyable dining experience! They have quite an extensive menu, and I will be sure to check out more of the other dishes!

Finally tried the tarts from @wunderfolks !

Got the 4 tart box! ($32 for four 8cm tarts)

You can choose the desired flavours of your tart, and I picked the following:
- Fruitilicious Mixed Fruit Tart: Filled with madagascan vanilla custard & topped off with grape, strawberry, blueberry and peach.
- Mango Passionfruit Tart: Creamy passionfruit curd topped with mango, pineapple, passionfruit cremeux cubes.
-Lemony Meringue Tart: Pate sablee crust, lemon curd and finished with torched meringue.
- LycheeTart: Lychee rose mousse, finished with a tangy and luscious lychee raspberry whipped ganache.

My favourite was the fruitilicious mixed fruit tart!

UJI MATCHA Pon De Ring from Mister Donut!

Ever since Mister Donut opened a new outlet near to me, I have always been itching to buy it, especially on days where the queue is not that long (LOL still cant get over how my first visit to Mister Donut at Bishan outlet was a more than 1.5hr long queue!) Nowadays, I will only queue if I see that there are less than 10 ppl in line!

Trying the new uji matcha flavour ($3 per piece) that was recently launched! Frankly, the matcha flavour is not very pronounced, and to me it just tastes like white chocolate lor, with very slight matcha colour/flavour/taste. Not sure why the price differential from the other flavoured pon de ring (the strawberry pon de ring is only $2.50)!

I conclude that my favourite pon de ring flavours are still strawberry and the glazed ones!

Do note that there is buying restriction limit of 6 pon de ring per person!

My umpteenth visit to Pratunam! Because they have affordable and tasty food!

This is what we ordered this time round:
-Signature Dry Tom Yum Noodle ($8.90+)
-Signature Basil Minced Pork Rice ($9.90+)
-Lemongrass Lime ($3.50+)

Love the springy noodles and spicy basil minced pork!

Thai food is really my comfort food!

For the longest time, Nam Nam has been my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in Singapore.

Tried Co Chung recently and it is now my new found favourite! And now I understand why they always have a long queue at the Plaza Sing outlet!

Here is what I ordered:
-Chicken Pho Noodle ($11.50++): I initially did not want to order this as the menu photo did not look appetising. But it turned out to be super tasty! The soup was the herbal not super pepperish kind! However, the chilli given is chilli sauce instead of the red cut chilli.
-Vermicelli with Grilled Pork and Crispy Spring Roll ($12.50++): My other favourite item to order at Vietnamese Restaurant!
-Fried Crispy Spring Rolls ($8.50++): Their fried crispy spring rolls has more vermicelli and less on meat/prawn.
-Cold Lemongrass Water ($3.80++): This was frankly quite diluted, almost tasting like iced plain water

Hong Lim Hawker is one of my favourite to-go hawker, as they have so many nice food here! (But also, most of the popular food stalls have extremely long queues on both weekdays and Saturdays)!

Always making it a point to try something new each time I am here! This trip, we tried the noodles from The Noodle Memories (Unit 02-27)! Got the specialty dry chilli noodle ($5.50) at xiao la chilli level. It comes with you mian noodles, black fungus, poached egg, minced meat sauce and a crispy taukee! Their noodles are made fresh on-site! Their xiao la chilli spice level is also quite spicy already, so be careful if you cant take spice well!

Finally trying 大豆小豆 at Hong Lim!

They have pretty interesting and unique tauhuey flavours! You can also customise the sugar syrup for your tauhuey bowl and choose your preferred additional toppings!

Here is what we had:
💙one blue beancurd + tang yuan
🖤black sesame sauce beancurd + tang yuan
🧡soya milk

Smooth silky tauhuey! The soya milk drink also tastes slightly different from usual hawker stall! There was a nutty fragrant taste to it!

Featured here are the following food items:
-Babi Pongteh Don: $15.90 for a set that comes with the babi pongteh, blue pea rice, achar, keropok ikan and sambal egg! You can also top up to get an accompanying coffee/ tea / chocolate / mocktail/ alcohol! The braised pork was so tender and I love the soft braised potatoes!
-Laksa Pasta ($15.90): Interesting fusion dish! Comes with 2 fresh prawns, taupoks and a boiled egg.
-Kueh Pie Tee ($12 for 6 pcs): Crispy kueh pie tee shells with sweet savoury turnip mixture! Be warned that the accompany chilli sauce dip is VERY spicy!
-Otak Otak ($12): Super fragrant otah made of ground fish with fragrant spices! Love the crispy exterior edges and smooth fish paste!
-Pandan Kaya Croffle ($15): Do not leave without trying their desserts! Their croffle was so good! The croffle had pandan kaya sauce on it too, so it was so good even on its own! This comes topped with pretty aesthetic blue pea soft serve, drizzled with gula melaka syrup and sprinkled with coconut flakes!
-Momo Sencha: Hot fruity tea!
-Raspberry Honey: Super refreshing drink that is also soothing on the throat!

Be sure to bookmark this place and head here for your next culinary adventure!

Back at Keong Saik Bakery! This time at the Luzerne outlet! Have been wanting to visit this Luzerne outlet for its more spacious and bright airy environment!

Ordered the following food items:
-Chicken Katsu Burger
-Ebi Katsu Sando
-Hot Matcha Latte

We had 1 for 1 mains with burpple beyond, so our bill was $25+ for 2 pax! Otherwise, I do think their original pricing for the burger and sandwiches are kinda ex!

They are right opposite Syip cafe at Luzerne (another cafe on my to-visit list)! Saw a few groups hoping in between the two cafes, depending on which cafe had available seats!
