This sandwich is usually made in limited quantities at the outlet. I bought it to share for breakfast because it’s quite a hefty sandwich, being filled with potatoes and an additional slice of bread and all. I wouldn’t recommend this sandwich because the potato salad and vegetables overpower the bread, meat patty and eggs for me (which were the main draw of these sandwiches to begin with). Because the potato salad is cold, it also turns the bread cold, but I prefer warm toast and ingredients. It’s also quite expensive, and doesn’t give the same level of satisfaction compared to the other FSH toasts.

Love the thick and chewy udon-esque noodles used in this mazesoba. The combination of the nori, green onion, onsen egg and minced meat with white vinegar (they provide this in a bottle on the side) coats the noodles in a rich, thick and savoury sauce that is phenomenal. The taste of the nori in this dish is rather pronounced, but I feel that it really adds to the dish. The chashu was really disappointing and I don’t recommend getting it as there are better options. As you can see, it was very fatty. Not only that, it was also very dry. But overall, I loved the meal, but do note that it can get a bit gelat because it’s quite rich! The vinegar added helps with this though :) Be sure to ask for and add the rice at the end of your meal to soak up the delicious sauce! The soup is also amazing, definitely a level up from regular instant miso soup and worth drinking! There are various ingredients in it, like radish and konnyaku, and though it is a tad oily, it is very flavourful, with sweet and salty notes :D

The bowls were a lot smaller than we had expected, seems like 1.5 times (in total) a regular bingsoo maybe? That being said, the regular bingsoos do give quite a lot. We bought this for 4 people, but I think the serving size is more appropriate for 2-3 people. I really love the milkiness and slight sweetness of the milk ice, and it’s the main reason why I like to come to Ice Lab. With reference to this set, I loved the Oreo bingsoo (but also because I love Oreo), especially since it came with chewy mini marshmallows that added to the texture and taste of the bingsoo. The mango bingsoo is also really satisfying; the mangoes are very sweet and fresh and complement the milk ice very well. I would say that this is the safest bet, and probably the healthiest with all the fruit going on. I’m not big on injeolmi, but it was pretty standard and nutty, and I quite enjoyed it. This set is good if you want to give the flavours a proper try without breaking the bank (and stomach) on three regulars. But if you want a lot of a certain flavour, I think the regular is still the best (because of the portion size...).

I’ve tried many burgers at VeganBurg, but the Avocado Beetroot Burger is by far my favourite. I like that the team tends to be very generous with the avocado, and the soy patty is very meaty. Overall, it tastes really fresh and hearty! Texture is also on point. However, the points go down a bit when they don’t add sufficient sauce (rarely though!), because then the burger gets a little dry and the flavours of the vegetables, bun and patty taste disjointed. Seaweed fries are always thick, crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside (on most good days), but would be even better with even more seaweed seasoning as the amount of seasoning tends to be inconsistent across all the fries. Drinks-wise, I personally like the Ginger Lemonade and would recommend it, but it may be a bit spicy because of the ginger and it tastes pretty unique; orange juice would be a safer bet.
