Tender grilled eel served on a round of fluffy egg and Japanese rice. Comes with miso soup, onsen egg and some pickled veg. Satisfying.

The white garnishes atop the dish had a taste and texture which resembled that of feta cheese, but is actually pickled cucumber yoghurt relish, according to the menu.

I liked the flavours of the dish, the chicken packing a nice level of heat, and the saltiness and tanginess from the yoghurt relish helping to balance out the spice.

However, the dish was too mushy on the whole, with both the cauliflower “rice” and yoghurt relish being soft. Would've appreciated a greater depth in textures!

noodles were very springy. an average bowl of noodles - nothing to rave about but better than ur average hawker fare

food: 6/10

was very impressed by fish and co when i went to try their food for the first time at changi airport t2 (read other reviews) but this one is absolutely terrible. far from the desired standard. the peri peri was incredibly oily and the fish was overcooked. not sure if it’s this branch or the standard just dropped with time but eitherways, will not go back. only the fries were acceptable

food: 4/10 (sweet potato fries were p decent)

very very mediocre food - underwhelming tbh and portion size is tinyyy. only worth it with burpple one for one because you can get the same quality at hawker centers in bigger portions

food: 5/10

not the best quality cafe food, maybe a 6/10 refer to individual dishes for more detailed reviews !

Located at Tanjong Pagar, rather than Chinatown as suggested in title. Food was fantastic especially the mushroom toast. Mind-blowing mushroom flavours.

One of the better pistachio ice creams i’ve tasted although it’s too sweet for my liking. Majority of their flavours were pretty meh and too sweet for my liking - i wouldn’t go back there but my family loved the place so maybe it’s just me that doesn’t really like it. The waffles were okay also - nothing special. It wasn’t as crispy as I would have liked it to be and the batter was also too sweet. Also, the staff there weren’t very friendly - especially when we asked to try the flavours because we were a pretty big group but appreciate their effort in trying to stay green by using metal spoons for ice cream tasting instead of wooden or plastic spoons

10/10 - hands down one of the best fish dishes that i’ve tried. The ham is slightly salty but not much to say about it since it’s not the star of the show. The fish is the best part😍😍fresh juicy flavourful and cooked to the right amount - the asparagus were fresh too but the other thing to fave about if the parsnip purĂ©e OOO it is sooo good. This is a must order when you come here and I personally think it’s even better than the Pan Seared Barramundi

Nothing special - your generic american omelette - wish there was more cheese though

The salmon was pan-seared to perfection :D So soft and tender - juices in the meat were retained and the quality and freshness of the meat was 💯💯. The portion was also huge and overall very worth it with burpple 1 for 1 !! otherwise $18 is a bit pricey for just salmon and underwhelming sides. The sauce was tasty as well although there wasn’t enough of it :/

The sides, however, really ruined the dish. The potatoes were hard and not fragrant. One of them was even rotten. Perhaps using olive oil instead of regular cooking oil to roast the potatoes would add more flavour and aroma to the dish. The salad was okay - nothing special, just your typical greens tossed in a citrusy sauce that was quite refreshing and the asparagus were decent although I found it a little too oily and bland like the potatoes.
