This Scallion Fried Rice in SizzlIng Pot is a comforting dish for us at the gorgeous @KomaSingapore in @MarinaBaySands. The interior decor makes us feel like we are in Japan. Expect contemporary Japanese dishes if you are out for a food adventure in MBS!

This delicate egg shell Chawanmushi is part of the new degustation menu at @Level33_SG. The wheat beer dashi used to prepare this Chawanmushi is subtle yet noticeable in the flavour. To luxe it up, it is topped with Oscietra Caviar!

This Oden from @NokaSG is packed with ingredients - wagyu beef, daikon radish, itokon, satsumaage and okura. Expect a comforting dashi broth!

Nevertheless, this Sago Pearl Pudding with Gula Melaka concluded our very hearty meal at @NonyaBong, a private dining experience in Chua Chu Kang. The next available dining slot is as far away as Jan-2020.

We enjoyed most of the savoury dishes, though this dessert is too heavy for us after a series of heavily flavoured Peranakan dishes. A sweet ending, regardless!

Prices for dishes on its revamped menu are fairly reasonable, especially if you share the calories with a few people as there are a number of dishes with portions huge enough for small group sharing.

If you only have time for one cafe in KL, this is it.

Ventured to the wild west in Chua Chu Kang for @NonyaBong last evening, and it was such a blast! Great Nonya food, good company.

Guacamole is one of the most iconic dish in Mexican cuisine and we really enjoyed the version from @ElMeroMeroSG!
