With one month to go before Chinese New Year, the Pandas have painstakingly (took us a long while and intense internal discussion of what to include, with the usual disclaimer that all dishes featured have been personally tasted by us) compiled a list of delectable treats not to be missed this CNY season. This is one dish which left an impression on us, this delicious Signature Smoked Duck with Superior Chinese Herbal Stock from @ManFuYuanSG at @InterconSin is well-seasoned and you might not stop at just one slice of it.

First time to Indigo Blue Kitchen and we all went for the set lunch, which is easy to share and the portions are quite decent. Hereās our starters and we like every ingredient on this plate!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all from theRantingPanda Team!
So happy to have hotpot again, considering this is the second visit to Beauty after yesterdayās team lunch. Have a great silent night dinner everyone!
For non-herbal broths eaters, there is also a peppery version here and it uses Spanish Iberico pork. Talking about fusion and east meets west.
Ventured to Geylang over the weekend and we had the delicious Koungās Wan Tan Noodles. The flavourful and old-school style noodles aside, the char siew is especially noteworthy too. We like the the thick slices of tender char siew here, as opposed to ridiculously thin slices from other stalls. Will be back!
Missing our tea experience and itās probably time to head back here for some Taiwanese tea. Going to be a short work week, canāt wait for the mid-week Christmas break!
What are you looking forward to eat?
One of the many dishes we had during dim sum at Summer Pavilion. This is the Deep-fried Fish Skin Served with Supreme Stock, where you can either have both separately or dip the fish skin into the stock. We thought that it is quite a unique way of enjoying fried fish skin, though sipping the luscious stock on its own is good too!
This bowl is called the Signature Bursting Meatballs in Superior Stock from @GONoodleHouseSG in 313 Somerset. The pork balls here are filled generously with minced pork and the texture is firm enough.
Go for this dish if you are at Chef Kangās Noodle House instead of the prawn noodles. Both dishes come with the crispy pork cutlet, which frankly goes better with rice.
The restaurant located at Mandarin Gallery will be showcasing its festive menus for Christmas and New Year Eve, and you can walk down to the Christmas lights in Orchard after. TGIF!
