Love this milk tea! The tea taste is quite strong, as the ‘roasted’ flavour aftertaste will linger after every sip. It’s moderately sweet, so I will recommend this drink for those who are tired of the regular milky bubble tea!
It’s only available in cold version; no warm version even your order during breakfast time.
My 5th time coming back for this aburi salmon bowl topped with sinful-mayo sauce! The salmon cubes were marinated with shoyu before it was lightly torched. Honto oishii desu! Strongly recommend this if you like sweet and thick sauces.
One thing to note is only cash payment accepted.
Love my order, Pizza Bizmark!! Thin and crispy crust, yet warm, thick and chewy in the inside. The combination of feta cheese, honey baked ham, rocket salad and mozarella cheese are the classic that never goes wrong! The sunny side up gives some ‘edge’ on the dish, however, it is quite messy to eat as the egg is still in the half-cooked form (runny egg).
Service teams are super friendly, but be prepared to wait longlong as it took more than 25 minutes to cook the pizza, eventhough the restaurant was only half-full.
The dish came out pretty fast (<10 mins waiting time). It’s quite fragrant, can smell the spices; however it turns out not as spicy as I expected. The taste is quite authentic so overall a pleasant experience. It will be great if they add a little bit more chicken meat as the rice portion is quite big.
Love it as noodle is thick and chewy! The fried chicken (karaage) is a bit oily while the char siew is not as juicy as I expected.
The place is small though (only 20+ seaters) so be prepared to queue for a while during dinner time.
Beyond imagination!
This dessert has successfully replicate the richness of nasi lemak’s flavour and texture.
The savoury ‘nasi’ is made of savoury coconut while combined with green pandan mousse sweet gula melaka inside. The toppings playfully explore different textures - the sleek sambal chilli (strawberry coulis), jelly-like hard-boiled egg (mango yoghurt) and crunchy ikan bilis, peanuts and kuning fish tulip (fragrant fried onion a.k.a bawang goreng).
You definitely don’t want to miss this sweet yet savoury ‘nasi lemak’ dessert! Available til 20 Oct 2019

[Burpple Beyond] The “Double Waffle Combo” 1-for-1 deal comes with 4 waffles & 4 scoops of ice cream ($10.90). Additional $0.50 applies for each of premium flavour selected.
Love the Triple Chocolate ice cream - it is rich and not as bitter as Dark Chocolate flavour. The waffle texture is crunchy yet soft in the inside; a little bit plain though so it’s best to couple it with ice cream with stronger taste. Overall, it’s a value-for-money option! Psstt...freeflow plain water and free wifi are available :)
Notes: Omote just launched their Menu 2.0 on 17 July 2019.
This menu is part of Omote’s 2.0 menu, under the new contemporary modern donburi, offering 3 variations of don:
1. Salmon Mentai - definitely my favourite part of the dish; the mentai sauce is super creamy while the salmon is torched in aburi style. It was executed well as the aburi salmon is still juicy and not too dry!
2. Cubed Salmon in Spicy Cheese Sauce - the wasabi taste is a bit strong for me. The salmon cubes are cold with crunchy texture.
3. Assortment Chirashi - Omoté’s classic dish which never goes wrong! The chirashi is fresh with generous chunks of salmon, tuna and tako.
Love their classic milk tea taste! It’s smooth and silky. The pudding texture is on the harder spectrum so we can chew it. The sugar level preference is only 3 though - 0%, 50%, 100%.
Other recommended flavours are avocado milk tea and yam (if you are a yam person).
New branch of Tiger Sugar at Holland Village! Finally can get to try this as no queue at all (lunch time).
Still prefer the classic brown sugar with mousse and pearl, as this black tea with mousse option is abit tasteless.
