👉Hitsumabushi (Double)👈 Serving the CHEAPEST Unagi Hitsumabushi (Small) in town at $9.80 is @unauna.sg, a three-month-old unagi specialty restaurant nestled in Bugis+. 。 For those who don’t know, there are three ways to eat a Hitsumabushi. First, divide the bowl into portions. Enjoy the first portion on its own and relish the eel's depth of flavour. Then, for the second portion, add nori, wasabi and spring onions to the Hokkaido rice and eel. For the third portion, add the clear dashi to the above mix. 。 Slathered with their in-house basting tare and freshly grilled over hot charcoal, each slab of unagi was glistening ✨ on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside. How I wish they were as crispy as the ones I had at Man Man Unagi...😛 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Double Hitsumashi ($19.80) Delicious ramen place!!!! One of the best I’ve ever eaten and the portion was HUGE! Worth it for the portion and taste. Ambience was great too because we had a nice seat at the cubicles that mimicked watami style dining :)

Unagi Hitsumabushi 📍Una Una, Bugis+📍 💸Unagi Hitsumabushi (Regular): $14.80 ... Una Una offers quality unagi bowls that are affordable and worth it’s price. The No. 1 set, Histumabushi, comes in 3 different sizes- small, regular and double. If you are an unagi lover, definitely go for the double for more unagi! For this set, there are recommended 3 different ways of enjoying- have it plain, have it with the condiments and have it with the dashi. Personally, I prefer to have it with the condiments but feel free to enjoy it however you like🤤 $14.80++ for a quality unagi hitsumabushi is definitely a steal!💯

Yoghurt Jelly W/ Blueberries, Part Of Weekday Set Lunch ($25) To silence the call of our dessert stomach, we were offered yoghurt jelly with fresh blueberries. Light, refreshing and a good end to a heavy meal. I can finally see why there’s so much buzz about this place; from sharing a long table with other guests to idly watching the chef bumble about in his element, the whole session is an intimate dining experience that will undoubtedly keep one coming back.

Carbonara W/ Pasta Made In House, Bacon And Grated Parmesan. Part Of Weekday Lunch Set ($25) For the main, we got carbonara! The creamy pasta, touched by swirls of olive oil and covered first in crisp, juicy bacon, then a smattering of grated Parmesan was divine. On the first bite, I’d think even the most errr gastronomically-challenged person can intuitively tell that the pasta is made in-house; each strand is highly irregular, with a dense floury texture that is a welcome change from the mass-produced smoothness that we’re so used too! Coupled with the generous portion, we were surprisingly stuffed by the end!

Finally Dining At This Conclave!!! Went For Chef Javier’s Weekday 3-Course Set Lunch ($25) What better way to end a week than with a meticulously prepared meal by one very talented individual at this cosy hole-in-the-wall restaurant? Still can’t believe impatient me actually managed to wait a MONTH to dine here...but I guess it made the lunch all the more satisfying😚 For starters, we were served a charcuterie plate comprising champagne ham, pâté (made with ground pork, cognac and pistachio) and a hunk of focaccia. The cold cuts did whet my appetite but what stole the show really was dat thick, doughy, chewy lightly oiled focaccia with a consistency true to European bread - I could almost taste the blood, sweat and TLC put into kneading and baking it (figuratively ofc, no one likes the taste of sweat). Next time I go, please serve me a whole basket’s worth ok?😉

Oreo Mint Ice Cream With Waffles ($9.10) Creamier has moved to a new outlet in Toa Payoh! The new outlet is more spacious and has more seats, but it was still very crowded when I went on a Sunday night. I’m a HUGE fan of chocolate peppermint, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that there was not one but two variations of the flavour - oreo mint and peppermint chocolate!! 😍 Oreo mint is mint ice cream with oreo bits, while Peppermint chocolate is a dark chocolate base infused with peppermint. While both were really nice, I decided on the former because I really like how refreshing the mint ice cream was! And it was paired with warm, crispy waffles and drizzled in maple syrup and chocolate 👍🏼 We had to wait around 20minutes for the waffles though....but it’s well worth the wait!!

hands-down best waffles in sg! back here for the 12345th time and it still amazes me!!! the waffles here are just the right texture and taste and the ice cream is just as gooood!!! my favourite flavour is pistachio because it is really rich and fragrant 😆 do try the dark chocolate one too, super satisfying (‘: very affordable, only about $10 for double scoops on waffle (‘: a solid 11/10, must-try!!!!!!

Pistachio And Rum & Raisin W/ Waffles ($14.80) So happy that creamier reopened just across the road from their flagship branch with a significantly upgraded seating area!! We came at 5.45pm-ish and didn’t have to queue or wait for a seat at all. The offerings are just as they were before - same flavors, same standard of taste, just the way we like it! As always, I recommend the rich & nutty pistachio ice cream with an order of waffles, which are made on order. The rum and raisin was a little sweeter than we remembered, so maybe give it a miss if you’re a fan of more natural flavors.

Aburi Scallop Mekajiki Don Swordfish belly is tender and sweet. The sashimi is very fresh. Well worth the price paid ($24).

Umi Nami Sashimiiii ohman ... I forgot the vv chim jap name of both bowls we ordered so I’ll just explain it in simple english. The first one was the salmon and ikura bowl and it was super good !! The ballballs were so poppy and salty and slimy (sounds gross but that’s how you want your ikura to be amirite!!) The other one was swordfish belly with seared scallops topped with truffle #boujeelife I generally like salmon better so would still opt for salmon but apparently swordfish is supposed to be the more upz sashimi? Only downside was that both were pretty pricey at $25 and $24 respectively. Would probably still revert to the normal $13 aburi salmon bowl that I usually get. But this was definitely a good treat and would defo recommend this place with or without the 1-1 deal! Prolly budget and j get the more mainstream bowls next time or when I use up the deals though. Overall rating is solid 10/10 wew - candace ✌🏻

The mayonnaise concoction tasted p good tbh, wasn’t too overwhelming and each cube of salmon was nicely coated w a good amount of it!! The salmon was cooked but was still moist & tasted rly fresh. Anago don was yummy and I didn’t rly have a problem w the bones bc it was so tender. A big thank you to the staffs for being so patient and explaining the dishes to momsie!! burpple 1 for 1 deal made it rly worth ✨If you’re looking for yUmmEh affordable dons this is the place to check out!!
