Rich and hearty. The sauce is a little on the sweeter side but the little pork meatballs hidden within provide balance with a nice fennel kick and savouriness. Cavatelli has been appearing on many menus lately and I'm glad - it's one of my favourite pastas. Nice chew on the one here.

Back in this pretty place. Pasta was a little past al dente but that didn't stop us from enjoying the dish. Generous with the crab meat and a more than decent seafood sauce. Light but satisfying. Yum.

First time here. Pricier than normal brunch but the quality is also one notch higher. Worth it with the Entertainer app. Portions are not big, but are good enough for me. Loved their little vertical wall garden of herbs.

The mountain yam rosti was crispy and delicious with the tender wagyu rump. The chunky tomato sauce was well balanced and not too tangy.

The King crab eggs florentine was 💯 usually not a fan of hollandaise which can be too rich but this was really good when mixed with the generous amounts of king crab and spinach. Dunk those gluten-free bread soldiers into the crab spinach hollandaise mixture - super satisfying. Also, kudos to that gluten free bread.

Tip: there's a HDB carpark hidden in Moh Guan Terrace with plenty of parking spaces!

Love that the gravy isn't too salty. Perfectly balanced and cleaned expertly. Be prepared to queue on weekends.

I'm not being overly dramatic when I say this is one of the best French toasts I've had in Singapore. The brioche was pillowy soft and yet had beautifully crunchy bits of caramelised crust. They were super generous with the not-too-sweet berry compote and fresh berries. And instead of almond flakes we got macadamia nuts! The whole dish wasn't too sweet as well. Highly suggest having it served later in the meal if you're sharing it with friends cos in the sweltering heat that ice cream melts crazy fast.

This was really quite a solid plate of food, both in size and standard. $23 is on the pricier side but they don't charge GST or service charge (yay!). Loved how there was half an avocado and basically 10 different things on the plate. They used the word "platter" for good reason - and it lived up to it. Super creamy scrambled eggs too.

Visited on an extremely hot day - we really felt like we were in a sauna under the canopy. If the temperature was five degrees cooler everything would have been perfect. These corn fritters were fresh and yummy, though I expected them to be thinner and crispier). I usually love hummus and I didn't like this one at all - it tasted more like mashed beans, and was missing some salt and acidity. That egg was perfectly poached though! I think the dish would have been better balanced with two poached eggs and two corn fritters (instead of three fritters).

They weren't kidding when they said this was a huge portion. Each of the FIVE hotcakes were fluffy and super light. One of the better pancakes out there. But even so, definitely not something most people would be able to finish on their own...

Well they said casual modern Australian - and indeed once I stepped in its vibes reminded me of Kettle Black in Melbourne. Wasn't too impressed with the fact that they had confirmed our reservations by phone but somehow hadn't written it down (?!) Other than that, service was pretty good. These corn fritters were excellent, and the poached eggs were seriously on point - firm but super wobbly with liquid yolks. Highly recommended.

I've always had the Nagoya style so decided to try the mentaiko one for once. Very yummy as well. The generous amount of cod roe and mayo made for a very rich bowl of ramen. Hot green tea definitely needed to cut through the richness. Note - no soup will be given for takeaways.... meh.

This was yum. At $14 this is slightly cheaper than Grain Traders but they don't charge extra for avocado (super many brownie points for that!!). Everything here was tasty doused in the Asian sauce. Tried a friend's sesame sauce and it was good too. Would love to be back but not sure I will take a 15min walk out to Telok Ayer for this on a regular basis...

Decent sushi. That California maki was spot on. But I think there's better lunch sets out there for similar or better prices. Wasn't super stoked that for a $42++ set, 6 pieces of sushi were salmon sushi. And my no-wasabi request was not heeded... which is weird cos we had excellent service - we scored the private tatami room when the hostess decided the neighboring table was too noisy.
