O’ma spoon is one of the best places in town to get bingsu! Injeolmi is one of their signature flavours, and I like how generous they are with the chewy rice cakes 😋 This is a great choice if you’re looking for something icy to share! They also offer mini portions for around half the price, which is great if you want to try multiple flavours, or if you’re eating alone! They also serve drinks and toast 😋

Haakon is my go-to place for acai bows! 😋 The classic acai bowl comes with chia seed parfait, homemade granola, coconut flakes and loads of fresh fruits!! The fruits they serve are seasonal and we had mango(!!) in addition to the usual banana, strawberry, blueberries and dragonfruit! I love their homemade granola, and it provides a nice crunch. Overall, this is a really good and filling acai bowl! Perfect if you’re looking for something healthy and yummy in town 👍🏼

I loveee the rösti here!! And even better when it’s on 20% discount! While it’s still sliiighty pricey at $17.40, Marché’s rösti is really good and I would still have ordered this even without the discount. The rösti was crispy and golden brown, and it comes with chicken cheese sausage, sautéed mushrooms and a dollop of sour cream by the side. Really really tasty and satisfying! Definitely a must try when you come here

Deal: Hangry Dinner Deal (20% off all food excluding drinks, Mon-Thu 5pm onwards)

Rly so much more worth it with the 20% discount! This comes with a generous serving of seafood (salmon, prawns, mussel) and meat. Do share this because the portion was quite big!! My only complaint would be that it wasn’t warm enough because it was probably left out in the open 😢 Nonetheless, I still enjoyed this!!

The durian snow ice here is rly 💯!! The portion is really generous and the snow ice is dense and creamy! I like how the durian is not too artificially flavored, and it really does taste like durian. It also comes with pure durian purée as well 😍 (and you have the option to add additional D24 purée for $2) I enjoyed the other toppings as well! Really satisfying dessert! 😋

I highly recommend the beef bulgogi here! 😋 The beef was tender, well-marinated and really yummy! In addition, I like how the beef was sweet and nicely charred. The banchan here was great as well! We had a spread of 6 side dishes, but I especially liked their fish cake and kimchi. I would come back again for their beef bulgogi! Do try this if you’re ever in the area 👍🏼

Three Meals A Day is a small Korean restaurant located a short walk away from Beauty World MRT. Their menu has a nice spread of Korean dishes, but we particularly enjoyed their Doenjang Jjigae (a.k.a soybean paste stew)! You have a choice of either seafood ($10) or beef ($12). The seafood option came with fresh prawns, muscles and clams! However, we felt that the portion could have been bigger.

Really love the soup here! It’s super flavourful and sweet. Add chilli powder or chopped chilli into the soup to give it an extra kick! We ordered the jumbo sized portion, which comes with really thick and juicy prawns.

The prawn mee here comes in 3 sizes - small ($6), medium ($9) and jumbo ($12) and you can opt to have it dry or with soup. This was my first time trying their dry prawn mee, which comes with prawns sliced in halves, yellow noodles/beehoon and a mix of chilli sauce! The chilli was sweet, and I added extra chilli powder to make it spicier! The dry prawn mee also comes with a side of refillable soup, but I found that it just doesn’t taste as nice as the one in soup prawn mee. Nonetheless, the soup was still sweet and flavourful!

Jjamppong is a spicy seafood noodle soup, and it comes with so much fresh seafood - mussels, clams, squid and prawns (!!) The noodles here are the same ones used in their signature Jjajangmyeon, which are very chewy and springy. I love how the seafood broth is spicy and flavourful. I highly recommend ordering both Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong to share! Plus, the Jjamppong portion is huge!! 😍

O.BBa Jjajang serves Korean-Chinese food, and their Jjajangmyeon is one of the best I’ve had in Singapore! 😋 It’s really authentic and I love how the noodles are springy and chewy. The black soybean paste is starchy and sweet, and contains meat chunks and onions. You have to order the jjajangmyeon here! This is one of my go-to places for Korean food and a major plus point is that they open till 2am every day, which is perfect for supper!

Nunsongyee serves one of the most authentic bingsu in Singapore! I’ve been a fan of their bingsu ever since they opened their first outlet at Burghley Drive (which has sadly closed...) But they still have an outlet at Bugis! It was quite crowded when I went on a weekend night, but there was still ample seating space. Injeolmi Bingsu comes with roasted soybean powder, chewy rice cakes and sliced nuts. I really like Injeolmi Bingsu, because of it’s nutty flavour and how it’s not too sweet or overwhelming! Also, the shaved milk was soft, pillowy and melts in your mouth! Highly recommend this! 😋
