1. Popularity bak kut teh ($7.9, FREE with burpple beyond!)
The only good thing about this is actually just the soup. The soup is delicious. The meat on the other side is sooooo hard. I need A LOT of effort just to pick the meat with my chopsticks, biting it down is the only way and it's not that easy eaither! Maybe because we were eating at night so we got the new batch of hard meat or something
The waiter/waitress seems a bit lost they could freeze suddenly. But other than that the place, ambience, and service is great.

We order various dishes, and I think overall we spend ~$45/pax.
We try 4 types of soup:
1. Collagen (must try!)
2. Spicy beef /ala (great when mixed with others!)
3. Mushroom (my nephews and niece love this one)
4. Herbal chicken ginseng (?)(taste very healthy)
And the must order items of all is:
1. Fried skin tofu
It's so bigg and crunchy! It's great when dipped into mala soup!
2. Ebiko and prawn paste
You can eat the prawn chunk and it taste sooo fresh!
3. Fish tofu
So soft and delicious!
And then it's endes with comimentary yuzu drink which is fresh and really gulps down all the food.
The only bad thing here is almost all the waitress can only speak chinese so we have a bit of a hard time, and the service is not as great as well compared to other luxury hotpot brand. But the food:price ratio here is better for me!
Strawberry foam latte (??)
Forgot the orice of this one but I rememver it taste soooo good! The sweet and a bit sour if strawberry tastes both mellow and fresh! Would deff order this again!
Brown sugar milk matcha (M $4.9 / L $5.9)
The brown sugar matcha is horrible, I feel like they throw the whole matcha powder they have for me, I can really taste the matcha powder and the brown sugar is not helping at all. The only after taste I got from this is bitter and sick
(~$20 for 2 people)
This is kne of the best mala in singapore! The spiciness and savory taste is just perfect! We order lv2 and it's soooo spicy my ears gone a bit deaf, so next we order lv1 and it's still keeps the great taste but less spicy!
The veggies and meat also fresh so we could choose easily, the only downside is it's a biy expensive in here.
Angus beef cube (L - $10.9)
We ordered the large size (200gr I think) and it was sooo good! The meat is a bit chewy but so juicy and tender! We add cheese ($1) and it tastes great! The cheese complements the meat well and makes the savory taste comes out. Our big mistake was adding rose salt to the meat that has been salty enough with the cheese. Just cheese is enough! Eat it first before adding any condiments.
TL;DR, Don't order the chicken katsu curry rice!
Otaru curry rice ($17.8 ++)
Otaru curry rice have 3 kind of meats, chicken katsu, karaage, and ebifurai (fried shrimp) so we could try all the meat served in their curry. The karaage is not as crispy maybe because it's dipped in curry sauce but the meat is sooo soft. The ebifurai is also very good! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken katsu is the worst, it's crispy and the meat is sooooo hard. I don't know what kind of chicken or how old the meat is but I don't recommend it.
The service was great and friendly. The waitress are so nice and helpful to us!
Truffle beef bowl ( Large $25.9 Beyond 1-for-1)
It's sooooo delicious! The meat is soft enough and chewy, I like the texture and the sauce is verrryyy good! I can taste a hint of fried garlic, but on your every bite you can definitely taste the truffle oil. Served with a perfect onsen egg it's just perfect! We order the large size but don't worry! The extra price will add meat instead of rice to your bowl so totally worth it!
The place also cute but small, and served some cakes and coffee but we don't try it. And somehow people think it's a hangout place instead of restaurant so you might want to watch out for the queue, even after they finished their food! So don't come betting with your empty stomach!

Karage don ($8.9)
The karage in here is crispy but not as tender as I expected. It's just okay. It comes with seaweed soup which is prettt good.
The waiter are very nice and the restaurant is clean so I give it 4 stars, but I don't recommend the karaage.
Set menu (+$2)
Add $2 for chawanmushi + miso soup, the chawanmushi for me tastes very soft and gentle! The tastes is not as salty and I love it, but my friend said it tasted bland so each to. Their own preferences. The miso soup with seaweed and tofu is just okay.
Great and comfortable place! It's quite calm and not noisy so you could have a peaceful conversation. The place seems understaffed since only 2 people wait the tables and they were rushing here and there, but they keep their professionalism and still polite despite the rush so kudos to them!

Gyu-don ($13.9)
The stir-fried wagyu beef is sooo sweet, savory, and tasty! The sauce is good with the meat and the half boiled egg is perfect! Too bad that on the menu it shows a lot of fried garlic but when it arrived on our table there's only some.

Salmon ikura don ($13.9)
The salmon is nice and sweet! But it's not as cold as how salmon is usualy served so it might be because the rice was warm. The ikura (salmon roe I think?) also very fresh and a great addition to ghe flavor! On the other hand the furikake (dry japanese seasoning, they use the egg and seaweed furikake) is a bit weird mixed in there. It adds flavour but I don't think it match the salmon. Also! Be wary that the portion is sooooo small.
