Watermelon yo-tea and blueberry pineapple yoghurt drink ($6.80 each). Was pleasantly surprised at how refreshing the drinks were! You get bits of fruits in both drinks. Don't get to choose your sugar level, but the drinks weren't overly sweet and was just right. Yummy and healthy tasting drinks, will be back to order more!

Comforting bowl of chicken noodle (ramen) soup for a rainy day ($12.90++). Chicken was absolutely tender and rich soup was very pleasant and drinkable (as compared to tonkotsu broth). Love how you can customise the dish to your preference - firmness of noodles, richness of broth and toppings.

Came down specially for the weekend shack menu. Fancy schmancy fish & chips with mushy peas ($38++). Pricey but pretty worth it for the quality you are getting. Every element was on point. The flavour of the dish actually stood out more with the malt vinegar spray. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Had to order the highly raved Sesame Prawn & Scallop Toast ($38++). Really nice presentation, ingredients were fresh and dish was pretty tasty. However, taste of scallops weren't exactly very pronounced and probably tasted more like fish paste.... Nevertheless, would recommend giving this a try still!

Signature category: Haddock fish & crips ($16.90++). Wasn't expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised with the ASMR action. Fish was freshly fried, crunch was on point and tasted fresh too. Crips was alright, but can get a little greasy after awhile. Sauces were a nice touch - lemon butter, cheese, tartar and curry (I think). Overall a good meal and will recommend for fuss free fish & chips cravings!

Had to order this highly raved hassel back potato ($8++/piece). It's alot smaller than expected, but it's topped with many premium ingredients such as ikura and unagi. Potato was crispy but was cold when served. Would have been excellent if it was served hot.

Seasonal special: braised buta don ($16.90++). Great charred flavour and overall pretty yummy. Supposed to be pork belly but it tasted more like pork jowl instead? Nevertheless flavour was there and portion is just right for a small eater. You could top up to make it a meal.

Visited the classic astons and got the black pepper chicken chop ($10.90). Not much to shout about. Decent and fills your tummy. They changed the mac & cheese pasta from a shell to a penne. Pasta was a little overcooked. The rest was alright.

Wanted to grab a quick fix and decided to try out this pizza place. Got the pepperoni pizza ($9.90) and it didn't disappoint. Cheesy goodness! Pizza base was also not too shabby. Will visit again!

Not a jjajang myeon expert but wasn't blown away by this dish. Noodle seems to be a tad overcooked and sauce wasn't that flavourful. Would probably give this a miss.

Was in the area and decided to get some Korean food. The place seems to be run by Koreans. Toppoki texture was really chewy and on point. Portion seems kinda small but i was stuffed after the meal. Really liked that there are many variations of toppoki available here - you can add ramen, glass noodles etc. Not cheap but overall still pretty affordable.

Got the medium diy poke bowl ($$15.40) that comes with 2 scoops of poke and 4 toppings. Love the variety of poke offered (salmon, tuna, scallops, prawns, chicken and tofu etc). Got the scallops and chicken - both was really yummy! Only downside here is that the number of toppings offered is only limited to 4. Would be better if more toppings are offered when we opt for a bigger poke bowl.
