Chef Joel's BBQ Pork. Probably one of the best char-grilled pork cheek I have ever eaten so far. Soft, yet still firm enough to retain the texture such that it has a nice chew to it, great char marks, and the achar as well as the sauce provided for the much-needed contrast to cut through the richness and savouriness of the meat. There's a sweetness to this that would remind you of bak kwa too. Chef Joel if you're seeing this, I hope you can share with me your recipe. Thanks.

It was a great experience dining in ShuKuu. Staff were friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic in recommending the items in the menu. My friend and I specifically enjoyed the Maguro Yukke and the Gyu Ponzu which we would highly recommend to anyone coming to visit! Personally, having Gyu Ponzu before, I think ShuKuu's take on it is interesting, unique, and delicious. Awesome stuff!

Good food, generous portions, although it's on the pricier side. Conveniently located too (about 5 mins walk from Sixth Avenue Station) #burpple

Just tried the red king last week and while it looked spicy, it definitely wasn't at all! I recommend pork belly as it is really tender and flavorful. I thought the chashu topping set is quite worth it as well. But the highlight definitely has to be the ajitama, which was one of the best I've tried so far!
