Impressed that this is baked on the spot by a chef who is on standby to make such dishes. Love the strawberry ice cream more :) hot and cold dessert - I like! With vanilla cream
First for me to see this cooked right at a teppanyaki style hot slab right in the middle of my table. It's still not as good as what I had in Osaka but a good experience nonetheless.
Serangoon Garden Market and Food Centre is one of the must go place for family meals. With many stalls that still hang around from before the renovations, this place brings many good growing up memories. Although Siang Hee is considered a "new kid", the stall did not disappoint with their interesting, not common Zichar dishes. One such dish would be the Pork. Perfectly deep fried to golden brown, drenched in the yellow goodness of butter pumpkin sauce. What can I say? Gorgeous. The hint of curry powder in the sauce give that subtle kick. There is nothing more beautiful than having these crunchy goodness with plain ol ' rice. Just so perfect. #hawkerpedia
Made A Poached Egg With Oyster Mushrooms On Top Of Super Duper Tasty Soba That Tasted Like Green Tea! Very healthy dish. Not forgetting the Japanese peanut sauce to bring this dish to another creamy level.
Home cooked! Pancakes With Croissant Filled With Scrambled Eggs Atop Cheddar Cheese And Sautéed Mushrooms And Sausages On The Sides. Yummy :)
Tucked away in Fort Canning Hill, in the Pinacotheque De Paris, you will LOVE the ambience of this place. While you would expect the food and drinks here to be really expensive, cause ATAS PLACE, but no. THEIR NEW MENU, the 3 course festive menu (launched TODAY) will only set you back $38++ per pax! Crazy huh?
This is one of Ethan's entrees - The Sea. A crazily indulgent combination of Hokkaido scallop, Irish oyster, seaweed, ikura, tobiko and ebiko in a bed of sea salt sorbet, and finished with a piece of seaweed cracker! Mm.

The rain is absolutely beating down right now – on a day on which I have to run around Singapore doing media deliveries 😩 – and all I want to do is hole up at the cosy Trattoria Capri and dig into this massive bowl of fish stew. The rich broth comes jam-packed with a multitude of seafood: mussels, clams, prawns, squid, fish, and crayfish.
The croutons on the side are best soaked – not dipped – in the stew so they get comfortably soggy and imbued with the robust gravy.
Cassis bombe, elderflower yoghurt foam, plum liquor, bamboo shoot. Good for people who wants to have dessert but not so much of a sweet tooth 😊😊
Oh these bowls of sinful, heavy flavoured and creamy goodness got me salivating all over again. The prawn curry was surprisingly light, despite the heavy creamy look. Generous on their prawns which were large, crunchy and very awesome. They go great with the plain naans. Now my personal favourite got to be the butter chicken. The chicken chunks were tender, and in bite sizes. And for the curry, boy I was swoon away by it, so creamy and thick I just want to finish all. Can't get enough of it. I prefer to drown my garlic naan with the curry, as the it will have that added punch from the buttery oil and garlic. Sinful but too delicious not to finish everything.
