[CLOSED] Basil & Mint Thai Street Eats (Amoy Street Food Centre)

Expectations vs reality far apart. I had been wanting to try this caifan featuring Thai food. It was so bad. Oyster mushrooms, greens, minced meat, egg. Really lousy food yet expensive.

thai-style cai fan for $5! u can choose red rice/white rice/mixed rice/noodles/veggie(?), one main (basil pork/chicken/beef/fish/seafood, two sides (sunny side-up/scrambled egg/spinach/morning glory). i can't remember all the options but they offer a decent variety. i chose red rice, basil chicken, scrambled egg and spinach w curry and it was pretty tasty :) the coconut in the curry made it v fragrant, the portions were generous (im still having food coma three hours later lol). best thing was, the owner was v friendly despite it being lunchtime. everyone knows how hectic the lunch period can be and im just rly appreciative that the owner still provided great service, on top of good food :)

Another Thai stall here at Amoy Street Hawker Centre, they have this express lunch during lunch time which give you a main and a side for only $4. You can add on more dishes like fried egg for another $1.

They also sell other Thai dishes like fried rice during dinner.
