Was not quite a fan of the century egg as it was quite tough that day but the pork is great!!

As good as the ones in Bangkok! I only wished it was a larger portion. Melt in your mouth meat & tendons with very little fats. Yums!

The cashew nut chicken $15 makes us divided as the chicken might be coated with flour and some might not be familiar with the texture. However, the overall portion and taste don’t totally put us off. A good fill me up after food shopping in Golden Mile complex. 🤓

Then comes the green curry chicken $12. The curry might not look super green like others but we know it is original with Thai aubergine (rare sight in Thai dishes here). Decent amount of chicken to pass around.
So we recommend this dish.👌

Helmed by the pioneer gen of Thai chef in SG, chef Somsak Chomprach (President International Thai chef association Singapore) and his team. They did a brilliant job that even though the location is at the back row of Golden Mile complex. It didn’t deter the crowd and the restaurant occupies such a big space. 😱

We start our order with the much talked about “BBQ Sotong” done just right texture served with chilli & lime sauce $15. 🦑

To experience a part of thailand, Golden Mile Complex is the way to go! At this eatery tucked away in the corner of the first floor, a variety of typical thai dishes can be spotted on the menu. We ordered tom yum soup in small ($10), pineapple fried rice ($6), green curry fried rice($6) and pad thai($5).

Although the dishes did not meet up to my expectations, I have to say they did taste pretty authentic. I realised that the more authentic rendations of thai tom yum are not really spicy and are sweeter just like this one. Taste aside, the portions were generous and the seafood was good too. It also seems like we missed out on the star of the restaurant - thai beef noodles! If we are in the area again maybe we could give this place another go. Otherwise, average food but still a wallet friendly place to stop by for a meal.
