The soup and the avalanche of ingredients were authentic enough. The beef was disappointing but it could be a cost issue.
Not your usual hawker center cockles, these are almost twice the size which make for a great mouthfeel. It’s also slightly undercooked so it’s briney and clammy, just the way I like it.
First time try Vietnamese fried rice. Quite good. Very generous too, a trait of this stall.
Surprisingly good and big. The meat is grilled and glazed. The baguette is toasted to a crisp.
New Viet stall opened by the Thai stall. Wtf. Anyway this is a special item. Their usual dry noodles come with fried meat, but they had run out of it. After some to and fro that I thought settled on beef pho, out came this. It's a fulfilling bowl. The noodles were quite authentic, the raw greens weren't too scary, the meats were lovely and I love Viet fried spring roll. Nice soup too.
