Run by an ex Crystal Jade chef, the wanton noodles channels classic HK vibes. The 5 plump wantons were filled with QQ fresh prawn mixed with minced pork. If nitpicking, found the skin a tad thick. We enjoyed the chewy and al-dente thin noodles but found them a tad starchy with a mild alkaline taste (read that they use duck instead of chicken egg which might contribute to this). The noodles were tossed in a light sauce that while fragrant, wasn’t the most memorable.

Egg noodles that are al dente, tossed in oyster sauce served with plump wantons nothing can go wrong.
Noodles were done right hence it was springy, and the wanton was so full of meat with prawn. So glad they opened in the west.
Hooked and I’m back again for the beef brisket noodle at Chef Kin HK Wanton Noodle. We also ordered their fried shrimp wantons and they were crispy crackling, savoury and so good! 👍🏻

Woo-Hoo! Chef Kin HK Wanton Noodle has opened a new outlet in the West!
The star ⭐️ dish is positively the beef brisket noodle. Their stewed beef brisket is beautifully tender and full of flavour with springy egg noodles served with oyster sauce. Crossing my finger that there will not be a long queue as seen in other outlets.
