At Cottle Coffee, we are proud of our rich artisan coffee history that started in 1972. That year, a third generation coffee and tea merchant, Bruce Cottle, established Cottle Coffee in South Melbourne after taking over a coffee roastery that had been in existence since 1912. His vision was simple: to be a world-class purveyor of the finest quality coffee by sourcing, roasting and blending the best green coffee beans from around the world. The tradition continues today with Bruce’s son, Richard Cottle, taking over the helm of the family business, which is into its fourth generation. Combining Cottle Coffee’s vast experience and multi-tiered history with an understanding for the constantly evolving coffee scene, Richard has added a café and retail outlet to the existing roastery. As we have done for over 40 years, we continue to supply the best artisan coffee to cafes in Melbourne, throughout Australia & internationally so customers will always get the best cup. Additionally, customers can enjoy a taste of our best blends and premium single origin coffee beans lovingly small batch roasted on premise in South Melbourne, at home. We are proud of our coffee. We love to drink lots of it every day. And we love to share it with others who love coffee.

Coffee tradition from Melbourne enriches Malaysia! Back there they have their own roastery, cafe and shop, and now all this enjoyable here in PJ. Love to hang out there, to have a good coffee or tea and a yummy sandwich or a cake. Best place to get coffee specialties, beans and coffee gadgets. Don't miss to drop in!!!

Cottle Cafe has finally found its way to Malaysia, after decades of roasting and supplying coffee beans to cafes in Melbourne. Gather a few friends and catch up over their excellent Filtered Coffee (prices vary, check with the barista), which they brew using beans flown in from their Melbourne roastery. Food-wise, Cottle Coffee has both local food options like Nasi Lemak Packet (RM3), available from the morning till it sells out, and a luscious durian cake Aroma Therapy (RM15), along with Western favourites like Pulled Beef Sandwich (RM18.50) and Hay Smoked Chicken & Leek Pie (RM14), both served with a side salad of the day.

I love durian cakes - quintessential Malaysian like that. They call this Aroma Therapy (RM15), and it was delectable. The chiffon layers were fluffy and the durian cream was subtle but addictive. Definitely one of those cakes that will make you go back for seconds.

This slice of cake is known as Aroma Therapy. It's extremely therapeutic as it tastes like durian (Only durian lovers will agree on this😂).
The flavour is rich, cake is fluffy and the cream is so light, you won't notice you finished the cake.

Good coffee, great internet. ❤️
