Browsing through Morningwood's cheeky menu might make you giggle, what with dishes like "Bang Cock" (RM25), a Thai-style chicken skewer pasta. This dish is even poetically described as a “milky divergent of spicy Thai spices and lemony flavours, escorted by sexy succulent thighs” on their menu. For something lighter, go for a Skinny Dip (RM20), eggs baked into a sweet and tangy tomato sauce, complete with Brioche toast to mop it all up. This is one of those spots you can depend on for excellent espresso-based coffees, but remember to also ask the barista for the available filtered coffees that day!
The flavour is essentially tomyum and green curry's very attractive dual-ethnicity baby, with strong and diverse support from the strongly basil-fied meat, crunchy bell peppers and the sweet pineapple chunks.
I gotta say, this is my favourite café item from the #BurppleSGxKL food expedition trip yet.
