Curry Fish Head

$16.00 ยท 7 Reviews

tofu was so so nia. sauce was bland for me and the portion of the egg could have been more generous.

claypot chicken was good. the marinade was done very nicely. and the meat was tender. and its very aromatic.

the curry fish head came with alot of vegetables. so i think we can actually not order vege or tofu in the future. the fish meat was easy to retrieve for noobs. loved the tau pok and beancurd skin. the curry was not too spicy.

but the separate chilli sauce on the side packed a punch. and its addictive too.

15 per pax.

Curry had a good spice kick to it and it was a decent size fish head with chunky flesh.

One of our top pick when it comes to curry fish head. Despite only half of the fish head on the plate, the portion is still considered very generous for the price.

Longtime fans of the West Coz Cafe in West Coast Plaza โ€” rejoice! The restaurant has opened a second outlet conveniently located in Yew Tee Point, making it a great zi char option for family meals on the weekends, or for a hearty meal with friends. If you're coming in a group of four or more, opt for the Set Menu B ($73.80) โ€” you get to pick one fish, meat, seafood, vegetable and side dish from the selected items. Rice and drinks are included as well. The popular Curry Fish Head ($16 for small, $19 for large) is a hit amongst the customers, but the Assam Curry Fish Head ($16 for small, $19 for large) is even tastier. You'll be mopping up every bit of the spicy and tangy sauce with your rice!

Read raving reviews of the curry fish head from West Coz... But this was disappointing. :( the fish head had very very little meat, and was extremely fishy! The curry was really delicious but even the strong spices couldn't mask the nauseating fishiness. :(

A much smaller crowd compared to the outlet at west coast plaza but the food is equally good! Four dishes including a curry fish head for a group of 5 cost around 60 bucks without drinks.

so apparently there is a west coz cafe without the queue at yew tee. fans of their popular curry fish head at west coast plaza sure know this second outlet. big serving of spicy spicy asam curry with that unmistakable asam tanginess with fresh fish-meat. naise
