Finally I got to try the Matcha Blondies ($9.70) from Edith Patisserie (@edithpatisserie). Using matcha powder imported from Japan, the natural bittersweet taste and robust matcha flavour explode with every bite I take. 😍

Are you green with envy? If you're a matcha lover, this is a must-try! πŸ˜‹

I've always been a fan of Edith Patisserie and they're one of my go-to places for cakes the past few years! I really enjoyed this lychee cheese cake which features layers of moist sponge, lychee bits and rose buttercream 😍 The cake is really pretty and we enjoyed how it had a good balance of the lychee and rose flavours too!

The assorted mini treats consist of a lemon loaf and assorted brownies in the Earl Grey, Hazelnut, Matcha and Salted Speculoos flavours. I liked this because it gives a variety of options in small options and I especially liked the salted speculoos and earl grey brownies too!

Apart from whole cakes, @edithpatisserie also sell a range of desserts such as their mango pomelo tarts and assorted mini treats. The mango pomelo tarts are new on their menu and I enjoy the buttery goodness of the tart shells, the slightly sweet mango curd and the slightly sour pomelo also giving that juicy kick πŸ˜‹

The Gin & Tonic was concentrated at the lower layers of the cake and the alcohol was pretty mild. I would have preferred if there were more textures to the cake than just sponge and cream. But overall, it was pretty refreshing! | $53.50

The Earl Grey Lavender had a very strong lavender taste, not our cup of tea, but if you’re a fan of v floral-y tastes, then u should definitely give this a try! The Honey Dalgona was slightly too sweet for our liking as well, & the buttercream for both cakes were slightly too thick. I think we’ll stick to our chocolate speculoos cookie dough cake next time!
