Fact. And this here, probably one of the best dishes Chef David Thompson and his team have ever concocted. Cured pork ribs, deep-fried till crisp on the outside and addictingly juicy on the inside. That sharp umami from the fish sauce, that lovely tang from calamansi juice (I think)...divine! Ok, that's all.

It was light and airy with a slight tart taste, especially in its lemon 🍋 curd center.
Walked past the hotel lobby and realized that the area formerly which had a counter selling the cakes was under renovation.
Oh where to get these cakes next time? 😱

The funny thing is how I haven't been able to taste for 3 weeks from a crazy cold but once I tasted @osteriamozzasg 's mozzarella with tomatoes and basil my sense of taste came back 😂I guess you call that expensive taste. @wakughin 's beef cheeks are tender to the fork.
