Tradizionale Focaccia Di Recco ($34) was filled with creamy cheese but did not have a solid enough base to hold it all and hence turned soggy🫕 Flavour was quite one-dimensional too.
Friarielli Provola e Salsiccia ($32) was decent but i was quite disappointed with the crust.
The pasta is renowned , but this appetiser with the sauce stole the show for us
The sponge cake was well soaked in coffee. Each bite was light, airy and slightly sweet. Perfect dessert to end the meal. Would definitely come back for it!
Soft warm chocolate cake with a smooth stream of chocolate flowing out when you cut it open. Very delicious and worth every calories. Do take note that the dish is baked upon order so there will be a 15mins wait. The wait was worth it.
It was a scorching hot day and we came to get some take aways. The friendly staff offered us ice cold water while we were waiting and refilled our glasses before we could even ask. She had anticipated our needs! What fantastic service, can you imagine if we had dined in?
It is an Italian restaurant at Siglap offering pizza, pasta etc. Pizza Etna ($26) will be one of the pizzas I recommend as it is amazingly good. It is often packed with patrons as such I will recommend making a reservation before going down.
Classic tiramisu with authentic pistachio paste from Sicily.
$14 is extremely pricey for a small piece of tiramisu with a chocolate spoon. But at least every bite of this goodness was worth it. A great combination of tiramisu and pistachio - especially if you’re lovers of both elements. This tiramisu in a rather constructed form of a cake isn’t those soggy type, so if this is what you like, this is the dessert for you.

Homemade lobster ravioli with butter pistachio cream and prawns. I’m not a professional photographer but how would one take a proper photo of this wonderful dish served in a long plate? I struggled - so please accept this humble shot (lol).
This dish is pricey - this makes 1 pasta (ravioli? how does singularity work for ravioli) $6 each. But man must I say that this was a worthy, guilty, way too expensive pleasure. Stuffing of lobster meat was worth every dime. And the sauce was a delectable complement to it. Creamy, nutty and slightly savoury.
I would recommend sharing this though, not only because $36 will burn a hole in your pocket - but personally, the nutty creamy sauce got a bit too much for me. And half a portion felt just right. This gives you more tummy space to try their other food too!
Worth a try, but whether I will actually crave for this again is questionable.

Arguably one of the best lasagna I’ve had. It looks like an unflattering bowl of red porridge but it exceeds expectations for $24. It came piping hot and fresh. The pasta was of good texture, not too mushy. But what stood out was the sauce. Rich, flavourful with cheese oozing out at every portion everywhere. I don’t know how they do that but they have to keep doing it.

A lovely Italian place hidden in Siglap that is always packed with patrons, really loved the cozy and friendly vibe. Opted for the homemade semolina pasta ($28) - didn’t fancy the texture but the truffle mushroom paste with their homemade sausage was well reduced to a thick, creamy paste packed with flavours 👌🏻
This pasta with crab meat in a lobster cream sauce ($25) is my second favourite pasta of the night. The thick and distinct lobster cream coated the pasta perfectly with visible crab meat strands from the flower crab.
This Homemade Semolina Pasta is tender and pair well with the cream sauce of porcini mushroom, homemade pork sausage. Portion is small though and you only taste truffle from the thin spread of sauce on the plate's exterior.
Tried the Burrata for starter during the first time dining experience. The Burrata is light, refreshing and pairs perfectly with the Parma ham. It was disappointing the Burrata was paired with rocket salad and normal cherry tomatoes as they did not draw out the best natural flavors of the Burrata. This starter is highly recommended!
Siglap outlet: Yet another very authentic place for Italian but just here for desserts tonight 😊 oh & what's up with Italian restaurants & bad lighting 😒

Pros: Cozy quiet corner at East Coast area. Good quality. Yummy desserts. Great pasta's here too. Pistachio ice-cream is awesome. Desserts not sickly sweet.
🐯
Cons: Crampy and uncomfortable seatings. Will not reorder tiramisu - too small for $14++ & not the best

Price: S$23.54 - tiramisu, pistachio ice cream
was craving authentic Italian vongole and pasta on a cold and rainy evening .. guaranteed freshness, food quantity and Italian hospitality.. still one of the best places for pastas in the east.. cos @ioitalianosteria is just to far a drive 😋 #burpple @burpple
This creamy pasta dish originated in the village of Norcia - renowned for its black truffle, pork and wild boar, in the Umbrian region of Italy. Udon-esque strands of homemade Ciriole semolina pasta lightly coated in an earthy porcini and truffle scented cream sauce, with rough-cut pork sausage and large shards of shaved cheese thrown in, is the very definition of hearty comfort food that wouldn't be out of place in an Italian nonna's kitchen.

Immensely enjoyable to eat, this glorious hot mess of pasta in a rich crab meat & lobster bisque sauce was fairly bursting out of its shell with crustacean goodness. The soft-shell crab that sat atop was a tad chewy, but I rather enjoyed sucking the seafood-y essence out of its frail little body. The addition of tomatoes only served to increase the already mad levels of umami.

I thought the handmade pasta had a satisfyingly firm bite to it and carried the heat and zing of the garlic chilli sauce quite nicely. The scallops were fresh and cooked well, although I could have done with alot more of the bottarga.
