This year, my quest is to suss out this silky smooth, black gold dish called KL Hokkien Mee. Not commonly found here, this artery clogging, lard laden fried noodles will definitely not fall under the healthy index but you've got to try it to believe it. Besides, how can anyone say no to this?
.
My first adventure brings me to Big Eater Restaurant and they serve their hokkien noodles with a serving size of $6, $10 (pictured), $14 and $18 portion. Wok hei was definitely evident in this plate and comes chock full of ingredients such as pieces of fried pork lard, meat slices, de-shelled prawns, squid and cabbage. Are there any other places that sells KL hokkien mee in Singapore?
