I am sure how much of these are facts from fiction, but I have to admit that their soya beancurd is really one notch above the rest. Located in the popular Concubine Lane, this soya beancurd is of the Teochew style and at RM 2.40, it’s a bowl of warm happiness despite the scorching heat outside. What’s special about this bowl is that it’s made up of three layers of soya beancurd, ginger and brown sugar. The recommended way of eating this is to get a bit of each for a mixture of texture and flavours that will hit your palate from the silky smooth beancurd, to the slight spiciness from the ginger and sweetness of the syrup. Very unique and something that I’ve never had before.
