Step into any one of the four Brotzeits in Singapore during this period and you can savour the Oktoberfest menu that’s personally curated by new Group Executive Chef Lorenz Raich, an Austrian native who has a wealth of experience from working in Michelin-starred kitchens and boutique F&B venues before joining Brotzeit. If you have been to an Oktoberfest previously, you can expect hearty and comforting fare with lots of beer to go around the table.

Start off this celebratory occasion with the Cold Roast Pork ($16) of pork collar that’s marinated overnight with a secret 12-spice mix before slow roasted and chilled. The pork collar is then sliced thinly and mixed in with house-pickled daikon, rocket leaves and mustard aioli to awaken your tastebuds before diving straight in to the Crispy Fried Pig Ears ($12), Crispy Pork Cracklings($6) and chomp down on the Giant Pretzel that comes in two options, one with pork knuckle ($23) and the other with surprises of tangy red cabbage, pickles, hot mustard and Farmer’s sausage in between ($28). If you are still game for more meat, there is Crispy Roasted Pork Shoulder ($45), paying homage of the pork knuckle traditional eaten during the festival, and it comes with one of the crispiest skins you can ever put in your mouth. To fill you up, the pork shoulder is accompanied with potato dumplings and root vegetables.
