Despite the horrendous queue (on good days maybe 30-45mins wait), people are still willing to wait in line just for a bowl of this Sliced Fish Soup ($7, large portion). Cooked in a light clear soup, the chef is never stingy with his ingredients as he adds thick and plentiful slices of fresh fish (all hand sliced by himself), vegetables and abalone into the pot.

When ordering, do also add a portion of preserved vegetables and that umami braised pig skin which you can pour the braised sauce onto your bowl of rice for that additional oomph. Please note that they are closed from Sundays to Tuesdays, so you only have from Wednesdays to Saturdays (open from morning till around 2-3pm) to get your sliced fish soup.
